    well i drive a tractor trailer(18 wheeler) for a living and have taken a lot of deff drining courses and know that a lot of act are preventable however never liked the safty directors point of view!!!!!!!!!! momma said you draw more flies with sugar than vinger. lol

    thanks for the info,seemed to run fine on my trip this weekend about 180 miles no problems,ran it down untill the f counter came on at 149.3 and got 34.3 mpg which is about the norm. 33.9-38.7 is whats its usually gets.everyone have a great 4th of july

    wow!!! what a tough croud. could a,would a and a bucket of s_i_,what do you have left??? a bucket of s_i_!!!! thank god he didn't get hurt,he can always replace his bike and maybe get the drive like a pro collection!!! LOL:bluesbrother:

    well nothing like beating a dead horse so here it goes,had this problem 6-8 months ago took it to the dealer(06 model)and they said no problems. took it back and they said they didnt do anything to it but gave me a 6 month warrenty on anything relating to a fuel issue. it was after that that i heard my fuel pump clicking for the first time.well on my last meet and eat it stalled out on me right after fueling,pushed it to the side and in a few minutes could hear it click and all was fine.started it today and fueled it up for my trip tomorrow and heard it cliking rode it 2.3 miles and fueled it up,went to start it and no clicking.went up the interstate 12 miles at speeds of 95-100 and than pulled a hill with no problems. got back home pulled the side cover(burned the hel_ out of two fingures)went to start it and no clicking,hit it with a rubber mallet and than a small hammer,nothing.moved the wires around and still nothing.

    wow!!! what to do now???i have the olmpya air glide and liked to passed out last sept and two years prior to that riding in hot weather after drinking water.i'm sure gonna do some research on this matter. i think i'm leaning towards not riding with the mesh and going with the solid textile wear.i think i've drunk to much water. ha ha that wasn't water that was 100% de agave!!!

    did you say eat???put me down for that randy, and by the way joe good one on the cup thing. dont worry about the meet and eats randy i'm sure will hook up and your right it's been a crazy year but will have pleanty of years to catch up and ride and eat,hope you and linda enjoy md. tell riderduke i still love him and sorry i didn't get to make it. ride safe and play hard!!!

    i know this was my first year of doing the nc meet and eats and hope that next year will be a lot better. i will be working on looking at the calander and trying my best not to have them on holiday weekends.think i will try to keep about the same destanations as this year.i try having them where more members can make them and maybe have them close enough to draw some from sc,tn and some ga folks, of course all are welcome.thoght about even playing around the thought of having a ride and stay over at a motel and than finishing up with it sat,dont know yet.

    i just read reccently a person did 8000 in 6 day's,about 1334 a day.theres no way he could have done this safely,iron butt or not.i like riding but lifes to short to get killed on the highway. i drive a truck for a living and know first hand driving while deprived of sleep is more dangours than dui.
