  1. Jim says 1mm either way is no problem but be careful when increasing overall diameter! if that tire contacts the body you may need an offset that tucks the wheel in more and that can present problems with hitting brake or suspension components. CHOOSE WISELY GRASSHOPPER
  2. I have Utopia's on both bikes and love them. The only thing that would improve them is if they were heated.
  3. I'm always too late
  4. If he's like me, I'm not welcome in Canada because of what I wear on my hip. So... it's always the long way around.

  6. I see a HD rider in the 1st pic, looks kind of out of place among all those venture riders
  7. if you still need pics, let me know and I'll scan the pages you need.

  11. Will the saddlebag fillers interfere with a trailer hitch? I have a Hitch doc hidden hitch.
  12. After all the noise an E3 rear made on the back of my scoot I didn't want one up front.
  13. I carry one of those kits in my saddle bag, where did you find yours?
  14. And he still hasn't said anything we could comprehend :rotfl:
  15. Offer to pay their fuel bill, then see if their answer changes
  16. Next step would be to pressurize the cooling system and see if you can force water into the suspect cylinder and watch for a pressure drop, you can rent a bore scope at an auto parts store to see inside the cylinder. Did you check the head and cylinder mating surfaces for flatness before reassembling?
  17. Are you sure what you are seeing is steam and not burning oil? Hold a paper coffee filter over the smoking pipe and let it collect some residue and see if it smell/tastes like oil or anti freeze. Prarriehammer could be correct , but I don't think that's it. As he said you'd have coolant in the oil But you say it's smoking so that say's what ever it is is being burnt. Is your motor oil milky? Did you have the head checked for cracks?
  18. You didn't think he'd pass up a chance to ride another bike, did you?
  19. Nice looking Trees , now let us see THE REST OF THE TRIKE !
  20. Yep, that's a Hannigan Steer-Lite, it's the newer style trees, if you compare it to mine there are subtle differences but it is a raked tree. As has been said already, you could just not be used to the difference between bike & trike, or it's possible your front tire is under-inflated, neck bearing too tight, rear shocks set too soft, also possible but not likely is that the rear alignment is not set correct. Could be one or a combination of the above. That 404 could be part of the problem. Thats what ours had at first, I switched to a Michelin CommanderII and it really helped .
  21. Great news. Next step should be the CEO
  22. Could be that your phone is saving the picture file as something other than a standard picture format like Jpeg or GIF. Try saving the pics to your computer then uploading to the site or save to an online image hosting service.
  23. That snow is no problem for you John, while the trike body is off we fit some nice snow tires on there for you.
