  1. The FJR is a nice bike but for us height challenged riders the seat height is a deal breaker. I have no opinion on the Strat, I've never ridden one.
  2. Our condolences to the whole family. Bob, Becky, if you need a break while in town you're always welcome to stop on by. There's a sailor here who'd like to meet you.
  3. First off, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR NATION. Sorry for the loss of your fellow soldiers. Welcome home. I as well as many others look forward to seeing you and the wife at some of the various events . Now let the fun begin ! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2
  4. I have a GoPro 3. At first I found it difficult to use, now, after spending some time with it I have no problem operating it with either the buttons or via smartphone wifi. I use the wifi for setup then shut off the wifi and control it with the buttons while riding.( Wifi eats the battery) I bought some extra batteries on ebay , I now have four and when fully charged will record a full day's ride. Buy the fastest SD cards for best performance. I have 3 32GB cards and have never been able to fill them all in a days ride, even at max resolution and frame rate. I upload the days video to the laptop at the hotel when we stop for the night. no experience with other cams. A lot of the other cams do not have interchangeable batteries so when it's dead your done for the day.
  5. Patricia, You beat me to the question! I was going to ask Puc the same thing, do ya want to sell it Puc ? If so put me second in line .
  6. Dump both of those shifters and go to a jockey shifter setup. If you're going to do custom... DO CUSTOM !
  7. I DON'T GIVE A CLUCK !
  8. That's way to high a price! If I remember correctly I paid about $120 last year from http://WWW.Ronayers.com Check their micro-fiche on line.
  9. And a special thanks to you, you answered the call even though it was not what you wished to do. Some went north of the border instead. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2
  10. As I type this I am sitting at MCAS New River and have had the chance to thank many marines for their service. An imperssive air base to say the least. Osprey & Cobra's everywhere I look. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2

  13. Mike, Now you need to come up with some D-Cut for the BMW
  14. It wasn't meant for us to ride it that day. Everything happens for a reason. Maybe next time... We'll see the grandkidz tomorrow , that's what really matters, have not seen them since last Oct.
  15. LOOKIN' GOOD
  16. Yesterday we rode the Cherohala skyway, what a beautiful and fun road to ride. We continued on to the Dragon, stopped at Deals gap for some trinkets then got on the bikes, ready to tame the Dragon when it was announced that there was a fatal accident about 1/2 way up and the road would be closed for several hours. We didn't have time to wait so we continued on with our trip east. A slow biker waved a quicker crotch rocket around just before a blind curve, the faster bike went for it and a car came around the apex and a head-on crash was the result. All that way and we didn't get to ride the dragon Our condolences to the rider that lost his life yesterday.
  17. Sitting here on the porch of our cabin in Tellico Plains, listening to the river trickle past. The ride from B2's was cool but dry. Cherohala and 129 lookout!! Here we come. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2
