  1. I hope they remembered their OARS, not easy moving a Viking ship without them. Safe flight home boys
  2. Welcome to the group I am sorry that you have so many of those crazy buckeyes so close to you, there are 49 other states you could escape to !
  3. As long as the drive it's self has not died, most likely it's a windows problem (common) boot the computer to a bootable copy of Ubantu (linix) and you should be able to access and save your data to an external drive. Then zero out the HD and reinstall windows and all drivers. Test for awhile to be sure it's not a bad drive then reinstall all your data.
  4. Hey there buddy, a few thoughts here. Have you tried re-syncing your carbs ? Could it be that your TCI is not firing all cylinders, leaving you with that sluggish feeling. Whatever the problem is, I hope you get it corrected quick. Listen to your mechanic, he knows those systems best. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2

  6. Scary situation! Good to hear you're not injured worse than you are. Feel better soon.
  7. It was an interesting ride home, crossed from USA into Canada at the Peace bridge in Buffalo, the nice lady at the customs booth must have liked me because she invited me to stay a bit longer pull into area 3 she say's, there 4 nice fellas were waiting to inspect my belongings, I guess they don't want dirty laundry crossing the border After emptying my trailer and all the bags on the bike they said have a good day I did up until that point. My trip across Ontario was uneventful till I got to the ferry crossing at Sombra, On. There are normally 2 ferry boats running but they blew the transmission in one of them 1 1/2 hours later I get on the boat, U.S. customs was nicer to me as they passed me right thru . Almost home.... but naw not so fast... 4 lane hwy reduced to 1 stuck in slow motion for 1 mile, backed up as far as I could see so I found an alternate route. Finally rolled into my garage at 6:20 Home safe and sound. THANK YOU TO THE NY CREW FOR PUTTING ON A FUN WEEKEND :thumbsup2:

  14. I run T6 also and I let the bike tell me when it's time to change it, my shifting starts to get a little notchy, normally around 4500-5K miles. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2

  16. Somting not right Jeannie has 15K miles on the rear brakes and there's still plenty meat left on them. Al, Check the calipers like Monty said, also make sure the return port in the rear master cylinder is not plugged.

  18. Nope,,, never seen one of those before. I got my first sled in 1975, was sitting in a bar just outside KI Sawyer AFB in da up, guy sitting next to me at the bar looks over at me and say's... ya want to buy a cabin? comes with 5 sleds... nope, don't want a cabin but I'll give ya 5 bucks for one of them sleds.. he say's OK so I follow him out there and he say's take your choice! I picked the Scorpion 440 race sled, loaded it nose first into the trunk of my 1970 Camaro ! Got to admit it looked a bit weird sticking out of there, but it did make it home to the Detroit area. I terrorized the neighborhood for several years with that thing
  19. Around here they are called Blue Racers, a sub-species of the common garter snake. Good to have around, but not in that condition .
  20. Wishing a speedy recovery. At least now you get to catch up on your laundry & cooking skills! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2

  23. Be real careful towing at or near capacity, bad things happen real fast. You may want to rent a truck that's up to the task. Enjoy the new trailer.
  24. Bikes are easier to fix than body parts Glad the two of you are ok.
  25. I've had a few warn's never let me down, dont know about the HF units. For power cables go to a few welding shops and ask if they have some old arc welder cables to run from front to back of truck. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2
