  4. I run T6 also and I let the bike tell me when it's time to change it, my shifting starts to get a little notchy, normally around 4500-5K miles. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2
  5. I've heard it makes a great after diner cocktail too. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2
  6. Somting not right Jeannie has 15K miles on the rear brakes and there's still plenty meat left on them. Al, Check the calipers like Monty said, also make sure the return port in the rear master cylinder is not plugged.

  8. Nope,,, never seen one of those before. I got my first sled in 1975, was sitting in a bar just outside KI Sawyer AFB in da up, guy sitting next to me at the bar looks over at me and say's... ya want to buy a cabin? comes with 5 sleds... nope, don't want a cabin but I'll give ya 5 bucks for one of them sleds.. he say's OK so I follow him out there and he say's take your choice! I picked the Scorpion 440 race sled, loaded it nose first into the trunk of my 1970 Camaro ! Got to admit it looked a bit weird sticking out of there, but it did make it home to the Detroit area. I terrorized the neighborhood for several years with that thing
  9. Around here they are called Blue Racers, a sub-species of the common garter snake. Good to have around, but not in that condition .
  10. Wishing a speedy recovery. At least now you get to catch up on your laundry & cooking skills! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2
  11. I think the site detects Wing owners and makes them wait a minute. Comes right up for me.
  12. Dat dare iz som goood dancin muzak
  13. Be real careful towing at or near capacity, bad things happen real fast. You may want to rent a truck that's up to the task. Enjoy the new trailer.
  14. Bikes are easier to fix than body parts Glad the two of you are ok.
  15. I've had a few warn's never let me down, dont know about the HF units. For power cables go to a few welding shops and ask if they have some old arc welder cables to run from front to back of truck. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2
  16. BUMMER on the delay. What problem came up ?
  17. Not because you're older, just wiser. Comfort on a long trip is a good thing.
  18. Dinners at 7pm Don't be late. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2
  19. I've had the '01 RSV up to almost 11,000 ft 2up pulling a 350# trailer and found a slight decrease in power that was easily overcome by just dropping down 1 gear, wasn't up there long enough to worry about MPG.
  20. One more thing, check the door seal for leaks, if humid air is getting in it will frost then turn to ice. A good clue that the seal is bad is if the ice starts to form at the door and creep inward.
  21. Happy Birthday big guy. Hope you don't suffer too much from brain freeze!
  22. Kuryakyn half cover on the road, cheap nylon in the garage for dust cover, heavy Yamaha storage cover during the off season. Any cover that fits an Ultra-Classic or Goldwing will work.
  23. I have used both and was happy with the results either way. Using the beads is a cleaner look, no weights clamped or stuck on the wheel exterior.
  24. Uh-O.... Now that you've hooked up with Tom & Teri you may find it hard to get any work done! He is an excellent windshield mechanic though, just ask him. Say hi to those two from Jay & Jeannie. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2
