  3. Be sure the small rubber washers are under all the screws.
  4. I too get that error lately, and long waits for page loads. If I go to another site right away, it's fast, so there is something going on. I thought it was my ISP since no one else was complaining.
  5. No No.... When I checked 2 weeks ago 1 US dollar was worth .78 canadian. Back in the early 70's the USD was almost double what the canuk buk was worth.
  6. The missus and I were going to go to a show in Canada and I found it would add quite a bit more to buy show tickets and a room with USD. We stayed home. I remember when it was the other way around when I was in High school, we could go to Windsor and get a steak dinner for 2 bucks and change!
  7. BRIGHT PINK would be one I haven't seen a lot of.
  8. Don, I gave up a 100K+ a year job that did not require travel but, it was 12 hours a day 6&7 days a week. It was a hard decision but one I do not regret. I now work part time for peanuts and even though the money does not flow like it once did, I am much happier now. I didn't realize how much of life passed me by while I was chasing the $$$ Only you and Eileen can know what's best. What ever your decision, make peace with it and move on with life.

  10. I had my garage slab done by the pro's. That's some hard work! 6" slab with 8"grid rebar wire and shredded fiberglass in the mix, I don't think it will ever shift even if it does crack. 19 years so far and all is good.
  11. I'd fly to Washington state, rent a bike and head south on the pacific coast highway.
  12. Jeannie and I send our condolences to you Abdul and your family. R.I.P Shah.
  13. Here's a few of one that didn't get stuck often. Boy I miss that truck. It's the blue one. Mud, snow, sand,,, didn't matter,
  14. I'm sure you've heard the saying,,, "Trust but Verify" Especially true with LD buys. That's the beauty of this site, it can raise your comfort level when making a long distance purchase when there is a member close by the prospect. I'm in Detroit and the trike we bought for my wife was in Atlanta, Ga. A VR member down there did a pre inspection for us before I made the 12 hour drive with lots of cash in hand. Happy to hear it's not as bad as your first report. Heal up yourself and the bike then get out and have lots of miles & smiles.
  15. I don't care what you drive, unless it's lifted high enough so as not to bottom on the ice layer and aggressive enough snow tires you're gonna be stuck in those conditions.
  16. My first thought is, why didn't you have a closer member do a pre inspection BEFORE you made the drive . Now that you have it, I hope you can make it to your liking fairly cheap.
  17. I have 5 different windshields, both wide and narrow, vented/unvented, in tall, mid and short short. Cold weather=Tall wide non vented Cool weather= above or vented wide Warm&dry weather=mid or short narrow Hot=shortest I have. about 9"

  19. Side effects may include sore cheek muscles (both types), also known to cause loss of direction and/or time. To be taken orally, anytime symptoms of PMS are felt.
  20. Micarl,,, It may also be a symptom of advancing years, after all, our buddy has been known to take detours thru cow pastures and miscellaneous parking lots on occasion.
  21. Big brother knows and see's all. No need to ask for info they already have. RCMP & OPP's are on the way, something about smuggling Americans across the border
  22. Yes Larry, we may get to see the grass soon! And a little heat will be a good thing too. Until the rains wash the roads we're still grounded though. The craters in the roads are another problem. We'll see about that M&E.
  23. Being it's a 1983 furnace I'll just replace it.
  24. Sorry to hear of your continued problems, wanna trade?
