  1. Sorry, we had almost 4" in just over 24 hours !
  2. I'm sitting on my deck drinking coffee and listening to the rain fall, 3" in the past 24 hours and more to come! No riding today 😢
  3. Praying for a positive outcome for you Don. I promise not to cause any trouble while you recoup.
  4. Gps stays in the trunk as backup, I now have my phone in a ram mount on the left side. I use waze for gps and Pandora.
  5. Nice ride you got there. I see you're in Ohio, keep an eye out for Freebirds maintenance day meet come springtime, it's a friendly get together in your home state, where you'll meet some good people, learn a few things about your bike and eat way more than you should!
  6. Sad news indeed. We'd ridden together a few times.
  7. Thanks to B2Dad I have a full set of heated gear, jacket, pants, gloves and socks. It's like riding in a toaster oven when set on Hi !
  8. Same here, got out for a ride this afternoon, perfect low 70s and still some color on the trees.
  9. End of the season, what is that? We may have a few weather related delays, but "end of riding season" nope, doesn't happen here.
  10. As always, Carl has sage advice. I tried as you suggested and that nap produce a nightmare, I awoke in a panic, my scoot in flames! Guess that touching those 2 wires together wasn't the best way to start the diagnosis! Lol Thanks Saddlebum, my bike is an '01 so it has the LCD dash. I'm hoping that like problems with the sound system I can cure this by just cleaning all the electrical connections from the speed sensor to the display. Videoarizona, I'll be looking at that also.
  11. Took a ride yesterday and my speedometer is going crazy, the indicator needle is fanning out and sweeping across the gauge face then back to normal, repeat, then the needle just disappears! If I shut the bike off and retry it goes back to normal for a short time. Where should I start troubleshooting?
  12. That would kill me here with this HARD red clay, you darn near need a jackhammer to get through it!
  13. Had plans to be at the 21 meet but we ended up in michigan instead 🙁 I'm hoping to be at the 22 meet. On a different subject, we're going to run the dragon sometime next week and a few other roads yet to be determined.
  14. Better poison ivy than becoming bear bait! Feel better soon.
  15. For those of you that remember Angel (DarkAngel) and Lori Delarosa, they could use our help and prayers right now as they battle Covid. They are both hospitalized and stand to loose their business if recovery takes too long. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10221152862556747&id=1400313572
  16. This place attracts the misfits from around the world so you'll fit right in for round two. Welcome back to the looney bin!
  17. I too have missed all the get-togethers and look forward to things restarting. WNY and MD are favorites of mine. Vogel was on my list for this year but life got in the way this year.
  18. Yes I know, thought I was gonna spend some quality time with them last time I crossed the border with you and they found my 38 cal speedloader in my tour pack! 🥺
  19. Depending on how I'm dressed, my go to carry is either a Ruger SR40C or Sig 938. Both are sweet shooters.
  20. Can't speak to the progressive springs. I know the Sonic straight rate springs have worked for me, I'm pleased with the upgrade.
  21. Thanks Mike, unfortunately there are none available.
  22. Vogel is 2 hours from my home. I looked at getting a site at VSP but it looks like the campsites are to small for our RV, is there another campground nearby that will accommodate rv's larger than 25 foot? If not i may just make the 100 mile ride on the mornings i want to join in the fun.
  23. With the ramp I have, it stores below the deck, with an arched ramp it would need to be stored on top of the the deck. Apple Pie... what do you think the storage box up front is for? Sorry, no Canadian deliveries! Justin has the border sealed !
  24. Here is my aluminum sled trailer that I have setup to haul both my 2 wheel RSV & my wifes Hannigan RSV at the same time. The trailer is 21 foot x 101 inches wide. Hauls both with room to spare. The only downside to this trailer is the deck height, I have to raise the nose of the trailer to reduce the breakover angle of the ramp or risk high centering the bikes when loading or unloading. I do this in a number of ways. 1) use the tongue jack. 2) run the rear wheels of the tow vehicle up on ramps. 3) back up to a raised section of ground to reduce the ramp angle.
  25. Sounds like fun. I'll give it an early yes. Been in the area before and wouldn't mind going back. Not to far from there this weekend, we're in Paris, TN helping B2Dad celebrate his 75th birthday this weekend.
