  1. My 43 year old Gravely Rider is still going strong, in its lifetime it's had 1 engine rebuild and 1 PTO replaced. May not be the fastest but it still mows and blows snow like a champion, and not even new commercial units are built as stout as this antique. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  2. There ya go again! Darn weekday MgNEM 😢 gotta meet my boat Mechanic at 10 🤔 Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  3. Another route to try is, find a welding shop with a laser, a good operator can burn the bolt out without damaging the threads.
  4. I found the same thing with the Purolator filters, they are making the plate convex now so the gasket does not quite seat anymore. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  5. While you are in there you may as well replace the shift shaft seal too. It's not a bad job to do, when you get the slave at the right angle it will slip out and in easily. Check the little rubber boots on the ends of the shift rod, they were both split on my "01 RSV. Perfect time to replace them.
  6. You are correct Puc, I resealed , put in 1.2 Sonic springs with 15W fork oil. I don't recall spacer size at the moment. I did pay attention to pre-load and sag while setting it up. It does ride a little stiffer than stock but not harsh by any means. I find it to be an excellent change, I've never been so confident in the handling of the bike as I am now. Some of this confidence can be attributed to the B.F. Goodrich T/A Radial I now run on the rear and 130 Michelin Commander II up front. I did also grease the neck bearings and swing arm bearings too. Both sets still had factory grease and looked good, repack and go. Next time my money tree is overgrown I'll be upgrading the rear shock.
  7. Sweet looking trike What year? What trike kit is it? How many miles?

  9. no cover needed,,, put a ramp up the deck steps and park it under the gazebo up there
  10. 4" speakers suck for sound and loudness. 6.5" would sound way better and produce more volume, beneficial at Ick-spress way speeds.
  11. I had my note 5 in an otterbox defender and still managed to Crack the glass back on the phone. Unlike the others, I have had my phone fall from the belt clip several times. I give it 2 1/2 of 5 stars. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  12. One word of caution on your radio selection , the Marine radio must be classified as "waterproof " not "resistant". There is a difference! Water resistant will not stand up to a heavy rain storm or a direct hit from a water hose. I've lost several Marine radios that have been on my boats over the years due to rain storms and direct hits from Rouge waves. I do like your work so far and am looking forward to seeing the end result. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  13. Nice find I'm sure the boy will have it running in no time.
  14. Hey Red, how about we put that KLR motor on the boat? Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  15. It don't look like that now, it's Stripped down to the plywood already, carpet should be here by next Wednesday. I have a 25hp I can put on it but really want more get up & go. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  16. $500 must be the number this week! I just bought a 16 foot Pontoon boat for $500. It needs seats and carpet and I'll be pulling the electric motors off it in favor of a 40 or 50HP outboard. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160513/cbd4ac5b9719e159481686644a5a494a.jpg Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

  22. All you 2nd Gen bashers can If my 2nd Gen was as ugly as those 1st gens, I'd want to get out of sight as fast as I could too
  23. A few inches up or back depending on where you position the grips, maybe a total of 3" wider and a different grip angle. We're pleased with the improvement. It was like adding power steering on the trike.
  24. Here is a list of part numbers from Buckeye performance from when I did the flanders swap on the trike. If I had to do it again, I'd Have Skydoc17 make my lines. Buckeye gave a Venturerider discount then, not sure if they still do. Flanders bars; FL650-08763 Throttle cables stainless; BNT-RSVXLSSTHRCABL Bar end adapters for RSV weights; BP426-426-095FL Brake & clutch 5 line kit Stainless; BP426-426-999C Total cost was about $650 in 2012
  25. Wishing you luck in getting this resolved soon. I agree with what Bob said. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
