  1. R.I.P. Jeff, You'll be missed by many of us. Thank you for the guidance you provided myself and many others at countless MD get togethers. Margaret, we'll be holding you and Jeff in our thoughts.
  2. I'll be heading out tomorrow morning for a PGR escort ride at 0730, should be a balmy 30 degrees at KSU ! Good thing I have my heated gear 😉 Escorting the Wreaths across America truck to M.J. Dolly Cooper veterans cemetery in Anderson, SC.
  3. Took a nice ride today, nowhere special , just a little wind therapy. Here's a picture for all you snowbound riders out there.
  4. Got your money's worth out of that one !
  5. Great to hear Boss, wishing you continued improvement. Happy that you were able to get a little wind therapy.
  6. Following, I need a ride.
  7. Don, Jeannie and I wish for a positive outcome for both Eileen's and your current health issues. Through your vision this forum has not only taught countless thousands about the Venture motorcycles, but more importantly that total strangers from across the globe can interact with respect to each other, even at face to face at events across the country. The friendships created because of Venture rider .org are a true testament to your leadership and tech skills. Weather you continue or pass on the reigns, just know you can always call on many of us to help you if and when you are in need. My tech skills are just good enough to really screw things up so I'll stay out of the way on that issue.

  10. I know this is an older thread but if you still have the touch-up paint I could use it for my wifes 08 trike.

  14. I mowed with a Grasshopper while working for the school, I was not impressed when comparing it to the front mount Scag we also had at the school.
  15. I mow with a 4 wheeled Gravely 816 with a 50" deck. It was manufactured in 1973 ! In the time I've owned it, other than oil and filter changes I've rebuilt the engine once and replaced the PTO & belt once. I'd say that's pretty good for a 50 year old mower. Gravely made a few 4 wheelers that will run a 60" deck. All attachments are shaft driven by a true transmission internal PTO. I fully expect this mower to outlive me. You could find a nice one with a 60" deck and 48" snow blower for about $3,000 The only Plastic on these tractors is a few bushings, the headlight lens and seat cover.
  16. When my regulator/rectifier went bad it fried the CB section in the radio, I was given another radio with a damaged plug, I want to replace the damaged plug on it, using my damaged radio to show me where each wire goes in the new plug. Knowing me if I take the plug off the old radio I'll screw up when replacing it!
  17. looking for the plug for the radio main plug, it's the 30 pin plug.
  18. I have a spare front fender on the shelf, it's off an 01 and needs painting. Shoot me a fair offer + the ride and its yours.
  19. Is the seating position lower than before rick did the mod? I have a stock pillowtop, it also is split at the seam in a few places. Since I'm vertically challenged a seat that sits lower would be welcome here. If Luvmy40 passes I'll send some pics of my seat if you're interested.
  20. Commercial presentation speaker stand.
  21. Ahalf assed bounce is better than a total splat! That scenario is my biggest fear on the twisty mountain backroads where I live. I hope you heal up quickly and correctly.
  22. Figures, August is always a hard month for me to make a rally. Have to be in Florida for a birthday party on the 13th, then straight up to Michigan for another!
  23. Ok, I saw the dates, but what month? 🙄
  24. Thanks Don, we've had Jeannies trike for 12 years and never had this info. Thanks for posting it.
