  2. I have a friend "Chuck" that just started a charity ride to raise money for a few charities. They are going to hit 22 states in 23 day's covering about 9000 miles. If you go to the facebook page and click the like button they will get $2.00 for each like they get. If you care to, please take a look and maybe like their page. Thanks
  3. Well it came from the oem with win ME so I'd guess mid 90's. The HD was listed in bios but when I booted to dos with a floppy and tried to change to C: drive it said invalid drive A: & B: were the floppy drive Boot order was HD - Floppy - CD I changed it to CD - HD - Floppy and loaded XP Pro w/ service pack 2. All is well it's up and running now, albeit slow by today's standards.
  4. Your water must be too hard.
  5. Good thing you got in early, supposed to be some storms and hail later tonight.
  6. All the drive designations were changed A was B, I never did figure out what the boot drive letter was! There were no bios or HD passwords. Couldn't login as admin.
  7. I tried safe mode, another password resetter and a few other things, I got fed up with it and formatted the HD and am installing XP Pro with all the service packs. Thanks to all who offered advice
  8. That's good to hear Gary. If you do come, I have a riser cap you may be interested in.
  9. Glad you are able to talk about it. Hope you heal fast and right.
  10. I just got 6 old laptops from work that they were going to trash, the one in question is a Dell Insipiron 2500 with Win 2000 pro. The person that used this computer no longer works there and it's password protected, no one know what it may be, is there any way I can get around this and reset the user and password. I don't want to do a fresh install because there are some programs i suspect on there that I want to keep and use.
  11. Any day is good for me, let the tourist pick the day

  15. The venison was just a thought since I have 2 deer in the freezer. I don't have a problem if y'all prefer burgers & dogs. I'm easy.
  16. Well since we have all these people coming to our area I'll put this offer out there, if everyone wants to get together, we could do it at my home, I'll make up a bunch of venison and we can shoot the bull around the camp fire. Everyone come to agreement on either Friday or Saturday evening and let me know. Or Sunday and we have the fireworks on the lake a few miles from here. I'm about 40 minutes Northwest of the Henry Ford and 20 from Southfield. I'm in West Bloomfield phone in my profile.

  18. 8 Ft Wouldn't have made a difference, mine is 30'D x48'W with 11'2" ceiling height. It's loaded and I still park my Jeep and truck outside. The Door is 9'x16' , wish I'd have made it 10' tall and moved it 3ft to the left The more room you have the more you collect.
  19. Let's make a plan and get it done. You can find my phone number in my profile. I'll see if I can track down the roaming shim kit and nail down an approximate date we can get ahold of it. I have tools a jack and air in my garage. Your place or mine it doesn't matter to me.
  20. Gee....I just hate meeting for fun and games
  21. I wish the Bride & Groom a long and happy marriage. Congrats to you !
  22. You'll have a great time there, so much to see and do. If you have time go through Greenfield Village too, it's like stepping back in time. There is also an Imax theater there, showing CarsII in 3D. I saw the previews when we were there a few weeks ago to see the new Pirates of the Carribean 3D, Cars looks like it would be a good one to see also.
  23. Is the stainless one CNC mill cut design or Lasered ?
  24. While the C-5 was turning over its engines, a female crewman gave the G.I.s on board the usual information regarding seat belts, emergency exits, etc. Finally, she said, 'Now sit back and enjoy your trip while your captain, Judith Campbell, and crew take you safely to Afghanistan ' An old Master Sergeant sitting in the eighth row thought to himself, 'Did I hear her right? Is the captain a woman?' When the attendant came by he said 'Did I understand you right? Is the captain a woman?' 'Yes,'! said the attendant, 'In fact, this entire crew is female.' 'My God,' he said, 'I wish I had two double scotch and sodas. I don't know what to think with only women up there in the cockpit.' 'That's another thing, Sergeant,' said the crew member, 'We No Longer Call It The Cockpit' 'It's The Box Office.' Quote of the day: 'Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater. If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby. If you give her a house, she'll give you a home. If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her. So, if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of ****.' Women are Angels. And when someone breaks our wings, we simply continue to fly....on a broomstick. We are flexible like that.
