  5. Do you have a route planned yet?
  6. Always good to have another rider from nearby join the forum. I'll be watching for him so we can give him the :ORANGE: he deserves.
  7. Try looking for what you need at http://WWW.MONOPRICE.COM You'd be surprised at what you may find there.

  9. I remember seeing that guy at Don's ! I think he said he was from Austraila or something
  10. Booked into the Presidential suite. Now all we need is for mother nature to co-operate
  11. Looks comfy. Add AC and stereo and she'll be riding like the Queen.
  12. OK....FINE.....be that way. A FRieND woulda said OK BUDDY, whatever ya want
  13. Naw, that would be a major step backwards for a 2nd Gen Rune.
  14. That's the part that I don't understand. When it switches to F and starts counting it is very erratic, I may go 5 miles and it shows 20, the next time I may go 5 miles and it shows 120. What's up with that? I get gas after riding 10 miles or so and it takes 4.8 - 5.2 gallons.
  15. Would ya like to borrow my chisel and power washer Aren't you glad you had a windshield !
  16. 3/4" plywood should do it. When I have a load that extends onto the tailgate I don't rely on the support cables, I use ratchet straps from the latch pin to the latch. Buying another project?
  17. JOE... Try and get a hotel with a pool & hot tub. Gotta have somewhere to consume my favoriite beverage
  18. You're right, this is a family forum
  19. What happened to that photographic memory of yours ? Forgot the film EH? Saran wrap will protect you.
  20. 2 here
  21. I like the concept, could it be the base for a new Valkrie ?
  22. I'm happy the damages to you and the scoot weren't worse. I did the same thing years ago on the shadow, same situation, same result. I am now very cautious with my front brake when the roads are wet. I tend to ride like a grandma when it's wet now. " I have a bad habit of using the front brake only, when my feet are up on the highway pegs and I get too lazy to move them" I am guilty of this also, but, under normal driving conditions it's not much of a problem.
  23. NO GAZEBO'S in AMERICA ?
  24. Jeannie and I did our demo rides today. I thought it was a fun little machine. Took about 10 minutes to get used to shifting while still on the throttle, acceleration was good but not what I expected, that may be because I was on the touring model, not the sport. Has all kinds of cool features on it. It has a nice ride to it. Steering it reminded me of a snowmobile with about 15" of carbide on the ski's and lots of studs (like it was on rails) . I'd consider one for a second bike but I wouldn't trade the RSV for one. Jeannie on the other hand LOVED IT and wants one now , of course she hasn't rode a Wing trike yet so we'll see. Met up with Carbon One (Larry) and star4772 (Joe) , grabbed a bite to eat then a nice backroads back into town.
