  1. Powerstroke is a light and medium duty engine, not suitable for the weight of most class a coaches. Early prevost used mostly Detroits, if I'm not mistaken. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  2. Dealer is installing new steer tires, rears are good for 4 more years. Not sure if I'll make this one with the date change, school starts the week after, busy time for us in the maintenance department. This one is 39' Pretty loaded 60K miles, stored indoors from day 1. I'm looking for knowledge about Cummins diesel maintenance, hopefully I won't need major mechanical advice.
  3. I'm looking at a 2004 Class A DP . Do we have any members owning one that can give me some words of wisdom?
  4. I had a hovercraft similar to that back in high school, what a fun toy it was! Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

  9. Oops... figured since he posted on FB it was public knowledge, I'm sorry Mike if this was supposed to be kept on the QT,,,, just trying to look out for ya [emoji6] Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  10. The Cell is Mikes. Mike says they are in the SW corner of Colorado, where Colorado, Utah & Nevada come together. I believe in St. George, UT BUT, I think the accident happened in Colorado, so that's where the bike is. He was transported to ST. George. Mike's FB post below. https://www.facebook.com/michael.brady.520/posts/10213620460764991?comment_id=10213623553002295&notif_t=feed_comment_reply&notif_id=1498336309544868
  11. Our pal Mike Brady (Brake Pad) was involved in an accident and is hospitalized in Southwest Colorado. Broken arms and bumps and bruises! His bike and trailer are totalled and he's in need of someone to retrieve them before the insurance company takes them. Say a prayer for our buddy and help him if you can. 15. Ok, that explains the lack of a visible tank. I wasn't aware it was a first gen. The LL front solve a few problems then, kool. I know well how the chopper front ends act, i had a 78 Honda 750 rigid with a 20 over front end! needed a football field to make a U-turn. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  16. Where is the fuel tank hidden? I love the look of those leading link front ends! Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

Hands down, the BFG TA/Radial is the winner. Best in traction and stopping power, also makes the bike corner like it's on railsa Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  20. Pulled the battery box and cleaned the main fuse/ start solenoid, it was all pretty clean as I did that 2 years ago. I did find 1 broken wire for my trailer light harness so I fixed that. What I found that was causing my no start was the main ground to the engine from the negative battery terminal was loose where it bolts to the engine Cleaned and tightened that and now it starts perfect like it always does On the positive side I now have all the plugs and connections cleaned and greased. Guess it's time to ride
  21. I'd be interested to see what you have to offer. Thanks
  22. New stator last year. My battery is at 13V when it clicks and dims the dash lights. Load tests OK.
  23. Here's the scenario; 300 mile ride last Saturday no problems, bike started and ran fine. Bike sat from Saturday evening till this morning. Rolled it out of the garage, hit the start button and 2 clicks, lights on dash dim when start button is pushed. I jumped the bike and it started right up and I made it to work. Just to be sure, I charged the battery while at work. Leave work bike starts up good, while on my way I notice the radio is turning on & off, I made it home and put side stand down and the bike died, ( NO it wasn't in gear) would not start, the relay / solenoid clicked and the lights went dim. Would not start even with a jump, just clicks and dimming dash lights. The battery load tests as good. Took the battery out of the trike and tried it too, same result as above so I'm guessing it's not a battery issue. My ignition switch has been flaky for a long time. Is it possible the ignition switch is causing this? When I would play with the switch before this problem cropped up it would cut the radio out and with the handle bar at full lock against the key it would kill the bike. I have an Ignition bypass hooked up and still no start. Where should I start trouble shooting this? Anyone have the part number and a seller suggestion for a new ignition switch? The bike is a 2001 RSV.
  24. I was looking forward to the weekend, l really wanted to check out the snake hunt at the club. Looked lime some fun riding too. I too am surprised there wasn't more interest in your generous offer. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
