  1. Been using AVG free edition for several years up till now it did a good job. After doing a few different scans with other trusted online scanners, found 3 different Trojans hiding on my system ! I've got them cleaned out now and think it's time to switch AV programs . What AV programs are doing a good job these days?
  2. If FMC notified MESC of the job offer, it's possible they could bump him but if I remember right ONLY if it's an offer within the state, within a limited number of miles from home. When I worked for Chrysler and was laid off, they extended job offers all over the country, you could take them or not, but, if you didn't you could sit in the pool for a long time, especially with low seniority . If it's a full time direct hire position that he's interested in whats keeping him here ? These days ya gotta go where the work is.
  3. Hey Karl... Merry Christmas pal. Let me know what they are when you find them, I'd like to know. If ya need some help moving the rest of your stuff let me know, I have some time next week
  4. Yep we made the Captian walk the plank a long time ago !
  5. Everyone I turn onto Sailor Jerry loves it Although it will do this to you if you over indulge I just happened to be sipping on one myself right now Now if I could only find Alberta Springs Rye. Can't get it here in the US of A MERRY CHRISTMAS
  6. You wouldn't happen to know the pad thickness of the EBC's and OEM's. I emailed the seller asking the thickness and maker.
  7. I was hoping someone had tried these and could report on their quality and performance. At $20 for 2 pair I was wondering if they were any good. I need to put pads on both bikes and am shopping around.
  8. Has anyone tried these pads listed on ebay ? I have used EBC in the past but was wondering about a cheaper alternative. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120833017792&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123#ht_2984wt_1016 Not sure why the link won't work, you'll have to copy & paste into your browser.
  9. A technical description of the Entabulator. Take a minute for this one. THIS IS CONSIDERED A MASTERPIECE OF [censored]. YOU WILL LOVE IT. I BELIEVE IT PRE-DATES THE FLUXCAPACATOR. Before watching the video clip, read the background below . Several years ago, Rockwell International decided to get into the heavy duty transmission business. They were getting ready to tape their first introductory video. As a warm up, the professional narrator began what has become a legend within the training industry. This man should have won an academy award for his stellar performance. Now remember this is strictly off the cuff, nothing is written down. I think you will enjoy this once in a lifetime performance from this gentleman.
  10. Tow dollars a week ain't gonna kill me and as we see, sometimes you get lucky.
  11. I wish I could be that lucky I guess he'll be having a Great Christmas!
  12. I start mine every 3 months and drain and refill the gas once a year, even with the seafoam added. I also always keep 20 gallons of fresh gas on hand, just incase. In many instances when the power goes out the gas stations are without power also, hard to get the gas out of the ground if they don't have power.
  13. If you like your Rum & Coke, you should try it with Sailor Jerry rum (spiced)
  14. Happy to hear that ! Now... go have a great Christmas and a HEALTHY New Year.
  15. Ya done good boy ! You know, that Karma things works both way's.
  16. looks like fun, but not on a RSV
  17. James, Jeannie and I are wishing for a successful outcome to your wife's surgery and a full and speedy recovery.
  18. Great find! You'll love the bike. We came across a craigslist find earlier this year too, got the wife an 08' RSV Hannigan trike with 10,000 miles for an unbelievable price that prompted me to drive to Atlanta Ga from Detroit, Mi. to pick it up. Those deals are out there, you just need to be in the right place at the right time. Enjoy the new ride
  19. Karl and Abigail, No thanks are necessary, If the shoe were on the other foot, you'd do the same for any one of us. If you need to talk, all ya gotta do is pick up the phone, you have my number. If it's a drink you want, I have a fresh batch of Apple pie Merry Christmas and a better New Year Jay & Jeannie
  20. Could be just dirty, causing the malfunction. My smoot did the same thing till I gave it a good cleaning, either wouldn't advance or not advance far enough to lock the wheel. It's either dirty or the timing is off, let a trusted gunsmith have a look at it.
  21. That woulda hurt ! I watched a riding buddy take out a partridge with his cheek at 50 MPH ! What an explosion of feathers it was !! Had a one heck of a bruise and was seein stars for 1/2 an hour. For the rest of the weekend, every time we saw a bird, we'd point at it and he'd show us another bird!
  22. I've got some .38S&W ammo for that. I have an old nickle Remington Smoot pistol in .38 rimfire, manuf. somewhere around 1880. A really neat looking piece. Whatever you do DO NOT re-blue it or anything else to alter the finish on it, it will diminish the value.
  23. Mine wants a front tire and some paint work. Mama's trike wants every chrome accessory made for a RSV, an auxiliary fuel tank and trailer hitch. But, especially Clean, Dry Pavement
  24. :bang head: I normally check woot every night, forgot last night, figures.
