  1. I couldn't find the Rotary Torque applicators or reversed blink signal bulbs. I did like the Tank conversion kits though, it would make traversing these crowed streets a bit easier.
  2. I retired 4-29-09 after 32 yrs with the same company. 18 months later I got a part time job because after all the honeydo's were done, I found myself getting bored sitting around. I love my wife dearly, but 24/7 was driving us both crazy ! She was doing this to me GO FIND SOMETHING TO DO ! It's nice knowing that I can say "I Quit" at any time, and my boss knows it too and takes it easy on me so I don't walk
  3. OOPS ! I forgot about another commitment on Sunday, guess I'll be there sometime Sat.
  4. Works for me You riding if the weather permits?
  5. I am going, time & day are open for me, if y'all wanna meet any time is good for me.
  6. According to Michelin, they will get twice the mileage of a standard tire. Pretty bold claim. We'll see.
  7. Looks like Ecks Potato's gone wild :rotf:
  8. HAPPY NEW YEARTO this whole crazy crew here. A healthy, wealthy and safe one.
  9. Jeff, So sorry to hear this, But, DO not give up hope. Several years before my mom passed, she was admitted to the hospital, they told us she had sepsis , was brain dead and in a coma and didn't expect her to make it through the night. When we got back to the hospital the next morning she was awake and lucid!, the doctors were dumbfounded ! She recovered from this and had many good years before passing . Keep on the doctors and staff to do all they can, your involvement can make all the difference. We hope your dad snaps back from this. Best Wishes Jay & Jeannie
  10. How about a few pic of the old car in the back ground. What is it?
  11. All my years of dirt and mud riding prepared me well for riding on the street. Learning to slide that rear tire through a curve helped me avoid a few broadside crashes.
  12. Riding yesterday, shoveling today!
  13. I got clean roads and mild weather got the scoot out and went for a ride I did keep the spirit though, I was saying HO HO HO the whole time. Oh ! I also got some clothing, gift cards, a RC Helicopter and a new floor Jack.
  14. I've wanted to go Linux for a few years now, but just can't seem to bring myself to setting up another system for the learning curve. One of these days.
  15. If I'd have bought a Vacuum for Jeannie as a gift I'd be in the dog house for months
  16. I deleted AVG last night and enabled MSE and downloaded Superantispyware and have it running resident along with MBAM and Spybot. There does not appear to be any conflict between the three spyware programs all running at once. Does MSE scann your email also ? I can't find any settings for scanning incoming or outgoing mail !
  17. I had Mac's in the distant past, when there wasn't much software out there for them. Now I'm lost when I get on a Mac
  18. I use a host of different products. AVG, Spy bot S&D, MBAM, Ad-aware, Comodo. None of the fore mentioned caught those 3 trojans! I agree that most freeware is a problem, as is a lot of banner ads you see on the internet that have assorted spyware in them. Downloads dot com and Gaming site's are also bad for that.
  19. I guess this is like asking which oil I should use I think I'll try Avast 1st , I'm running that on my wifes and so far so good. I should add that she doesn't do nearly as much online stuff as I do though, so it may not be a good comparison. Think I'll also give SuperAntispyware a try, I've read some good things about it.
  20. Good advice.
  21. Been using AVG free edition for several years up till now it did a good job. After doing a few different scans with other trusted online scanners, found 3 different Trojans hiding on my system ! I've got them cleaned out now and think it's time to switch AV programs . What AV programs are doing a good job these days?
  22. If FMC notified MESC of the job offer, it's possible they could bump him but if I remember right ONLY if it's an offer within the state, within a limited number of miles from home. When I worked for Chrysler and was laid off, they extended job offers all over the country, you could take them or not, but, if you didn't you could sit in the pool for a long time, especially with low seniority . If it's a full time direct hire position that he's interested in whats keeping him here ? These days ya gotta go where the work is.
  23. Hey Karl... Merry Christmas pal. Let me know what they are when you find them, I'd like to know. If ya need some help moving the rest of your stuff let me know, I have some time next week
