Size and weight would be a big red flag for me. As already said, stopping that trailer would be a challenge.

That's why I've been exploring the use of a 200R4. With my 355 rear gear it sings going down the highway.

That's what I'm running in my 462ci powered Buick GS. Bulletproof so far.

Yes, but when they're done right they are nice! I love a stick, but most of our crusin' is in the city and I hate pushing on a clutch all the time. My fused ankle complains alot when I do.

That figures ! I need lot's of chrome for Jeannies trike. I was hoping to get some of those gems from your RSV but it wasn't meant to be. OH WELL, the search continues.

POR only slows it down and it MUST be painted over, it has no UV inhibitors and breaks down quickly if left raw. Sometimes the easiest route is to find a nicer cab and swap it out. Take a look here. http://www.eastwood.com/rust-solutions.html

Yes it's still there. It has new shrink wrap on it. No cars in the drive though. I'll keep trying

I gave up on that swap meet, mostly harley stuff and my only harley is a golf cart.

You want a Cuda ? I know where there's a '64 convertible that's up for grabs. Last time I asked about it (4 yrs ago) he wanted 11,000 Needs some resto but overall not to bad.

Look in the Air box, Yama put it in there to keep it dry.

Swap in a Big Block Buick 455 with a 200R4 trans. The BBB is only about 50# heavier than a SBC . It'll fly and you won't have all the electronics to deal with.

Joe The more people you have on a pontoon boat the greater the chance of it nose diving underwater. More power makes it go under faster. ALWAYS ensure that the nose is not overloaded. It's amazing how fast it can happen ! I have seen this happen a few times to new pontoon boaters on our lake.

Jack, What brand is the trailer? I posted a BOL on my FB page with a picture. A brand and S/N would help incase they paint it and try to resell it.

Here you are: BANANA CAKE RECIPE You will need the following; a cup of water, a cup of sugar, flour, 4 large brown eggs, two cups of Banana's, a teaspoon of salt, a cup of brown sugar, lemon juice, nuts, and a bottle of Jack Daniels whiskey. Sample the whiskey and check the quality. Take a large bowl. Check the whiskey again. To be sure it is the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink. Repeat. Turn on the electric mixer, beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl.. Add one teaspoon of sugar and beat again. Make sure the whiskey is still okay. Cry another tup. Turn off the mixer. Beat two leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fit. Mix on the turner. If the Manana bash gets stuck in the beaterers, pry it loose with a drewscriver. Sample the whiskey and check for tonsisticity. Next, sift two cups of salt. Or something. Who cares? Check the whiskey. Now sift the lemon uice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Spoon. Of sugar of something. Whatever you find. Grease the oven. Turn the cake tin to 350 degrees. Don't forget to beat off the turner. Throw the bowl out of the window. Check the whiskey again and go to bed.

I'll take a ride by and see if it's still there. The V8 I/O's are not too bad on gas unless you are pulling skiers or tubes with a gang on deck. Have you owned a pontoon boat before?

I never said that Of course i'd let ya know. The water is still solid here. Things start happening around mid March. I Usually run across a few higher end boats at decent prices. I've found that the best deals are on the older boats. Look for one thats been rebuilt for the best bang for the buck. The 26 I picked up last fall was redecked/carpeted 3 years ago, no furniture, center console and a 50 hp Johnson that needs a little TLC. You looking for a V8 Tri-toon ? I may know of one that's got very few hours on it, hardly any hours on it, it sits in his drive on the trailer. I think it's about a 2003-4

You gotta be careful just buying parts after an Autozone scan. Sometimes it's another underlying issue that causes it to throw a code pointing to something else. Without having the diagnostic skills to interpret all the readings, not just the shown code, you could waste a lot of money before you stumble upon the real problem. That"s my

I haul pontoon boats as a way to finance bike trips. I have seen 20 YO boats that looked new and 40,000 + Benningtons that were 5 YO and looked beat to death. Like you said Joe, it's all in how they are taken care of, just like our bikes. The 2 i have were neglected by the previous owners. The big boat has a newer deck & carpeting, no furniture, we just use lawn chairs on deck. I like it that way because when you get a boat load of drunk friends, S*IT happens. I have put new cables and a prop on it. When the weather warms a bit I'll go through the motor and sell it. When someone has a decent boat for sale cheap I'll buy it, fix it up a bit and at least double my $$

I thought we need to stay right so we didn't run over parts that fall off those antiques

I have 2 Pontoon boats in my driveway for sale, both are older than what you want. One is a 20 footer with a 35hp the other a 26 foot with a 50 hp. 1982 and 1979 respectively. Both are twin tube boats.
