  1. They do look to be well made. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  2. The LED headlights came today, I ordered them from Searchwellness.com link that Leo posted. They advertised the Broview S5 as in stock. Today the package arrived and it is the S7, not the advertised S5. So if you are wanting the S5 Do Not order from them. Since I have tĺphese I'm going to try it out, I'll let everyone know how it fits and works. Here is what it looks like. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  3. I'd have gone that route except I did not want to have to cut up the stock headlamp assembly. I bought and installed the Xprite LED passing lamps and am waiting on delivery of the Broview S5 LED bulb. I installed the Xprite's last night , I had to grind about 3/16" off the yamaha passing lamp edge to get enough of the trim ring to grip the Yamaha passing lamp bucket. The Xprite bezel was just a bit to thick with the Yamaha light visor to get the trime ring past the emboss on the light bucket. I am happy with the increased light output. Had to make 3 adjustments to the aim and may do it again. Could Yamaha have made it any more difficult to adjust the passing lamps
  4. Thanks Leo, just ordered one up from them, hope they really do have them in stock.
  5. Thanks guys but all those links DO NOT have the Broview S5 H4/9003 with the braided heat sink. Don, what do you mean by "light dispersal" ? Also how is the cut off & hi beam? My current HID is starting to cut off and on, so I need to do something with it and One of my passing lamps has a burned out PIAA Extreme H3 so LED replacements will be needed there too. Both these lamp problems cropped up at nearly the same time, go figure.
  6. now that the Broview S5 is no longer available, has anyone got a suggestion on another H4\9003 LED headlight bulb? While I'm at it may as well do the passing lamps too.
  7. You are right, I have slid the forks up and gone to a 130 front tire, both helped individually and together really do make a difference. I also changed to straight rate front springs with 15WT. fork oil. Still, I think what makes the biggest difference is the ability to lose the fear of the perceived top heaviness. I must say, I made these changes more for better handling on twisty mountain roads than for parking lot tours. I spent the day yesterday at a HD dealer bike/hotrod show and for every rider that knew how to slow ride, there was 10 that Duckwalked their bikes in the crowded parking lots. That's rider ability, nothing to do with rake or weight. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  8. I disagree, the more time I spend on my 2nd gen the easier low speed, tight maneuvering becomes. When I first bought the bike I needed a 1 acre field to turn it around, not anymore! I've almost got full lock turns licked. Like that show-off Puc said... RPM's, rear brake and the friction zone give the 2nd gen low speed manners. The key is practice, practice, practice, till you get it, then practice some more. [emoji12] Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  9. You know,, your affinity for Dr's, surgeon's and hospitals is becoming all to apparent to us! You really need to find a new hobby Sorry your riding season have come to an abrupt finish. Heal fast & fully I think time has come for you to make that shed a drive-thru....
  10. I've been using the beads for years. I am happy with how well they work. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  11. Look up a shop in West Bloomfield, Mi. called Ecotopia, they have wall to wall ,floor to ceiling vintage stereo equipment and may have what you want. I have a mid 60's Eico tube amp & tuner my uncle built, I need to find a few tubes for.
  12. I have to agree with you, my old LR9090 paired to some old infinity towers ,blows away the dead Onkyo and the new yamaha for 2 channel stereo music Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  13. I am hardwired to a dedicated W10 pc for streaming movies and music, but it's by no means seamless, the W10 pc is a P.I.T.A. to work with. I'm going to set up a box running linux. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  14. R1= lots O fun! Still waiting on my hot dog this year ! Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  15. Glad you like it. Wait til you get the Atmos set up, the sound field will blow you away. I have the front presence speakers on top of my wall unit. Front & center, surrounds all set at ear level and love the atmos tracks on many blu-ray disks. I have started playing with streaming movies from my pc and so far have had a steep learning curve trying to get everything working properly . All said, I very happy with the 7810. The bad side of this is it's got me wanting to add more channels to the Atmos setup which will be EXPENSIVE! I've maxed out the number of useable channels and now want more! 16. Hi guys! Great video!! Thanks. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  17. Don, We all need a family member like you! What you are doing for Terry is awesome and you have my utmost respect for doing what you're doing. If I were closer I'd offer to take some of the load off you. Be mindful of your own health, working those hours can take it's toll. In my first comment I thought circumstances were different than they are. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  18. The only thing I'll ask is, do you really need 2 jobs? Maybe it's time to let one of them go. I did what you are doing years ago, when it got to the point that I was falling asleep at traffic lights and pockets full of money that I had no time to enjoy, I gave up my paint contracting business. I then was able to live and enjoy my family and life. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  19. Mine went bad 3 years ago. I live without the low fuel light now, gauge is still accurate, just no low fuel light or mileage countdown (never found the countdown useful anyway) Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  20. Clutch slave usually leaks into the void behind it, you'll loose a lot of fluid before you ever see it. With where you see the accumulation, I'd suspect either a vent line or bad gasket on the twinkie cover. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  21. Terrible story about his wife passing. I did drive OTR Semi's for about 2 years, I'm no stranger to large trucks. They do demand respect and awareness.
  22. Coach and chassis have their own battery banks. Gen set has only 160 hours and looks & runs like new! I know where the water bays are, I'll learn to use them properly. I've never had one of these complex machines. I'll be learning diesel maintenance, mostly from my son's F.I.L. , he has 30+ years in the business. Great suggestions on the wallet and check list.
  23. Most owners report 8-9.5 MPG Not too bad for what it is! Heck my Jeep liberty only gets 16 MPG if I drive like an old fart.
  24. Nope, it's a Roadmaster RR8R Chassis. Thanks for the offer. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
