  1. I feel your pain brother, we just wrote 2 checks totaling just shy of 4K . It will get mailed in the morning I'd rather pay now than give those !%$#~@ crooks a free loan. If we get the same bunch for another 4 years that number will most likely double !
  2. It's been almost 2 years since I had to make the same decision for my mom, under the same circumstances. Not an easy thing to do. We wish your family the best in these trying times. We took comfort in knowing that mom's pain and suffering was over. She was the strongest person I've ever known. 15 years battling cancer and never once a complaint. Mom now has peace and comfort and we have a lifetime of memories to cherish. Our sympathies are with you and your family. Jeannie & Jay
  3. I think they went by the bike VIN back then, not a unit serial number.
  4. Hannigan didn't start using a serial number until 2010 or 11 say's Mr. Gooch It's an aluminum tag . In the pic I circled where you would find it.
  5. I had that same bib on my Honda Ace Tourer, it was well made and usable, unlike the deep pocket one I have on the RSV. It is Iron Horse.

  9. Jeff, That's a pretty generous offer you made there . Don you better jump on that before he changes his mind Do you know who did your conversion? If not do you know who had the conversion the done ?
  10. Without any way to prove the build date you are probably on your own as far as brakes. I was able to provide the original build receipt to prove the date. You may want to talk to your installer to try and get a copy. I think that ebc number is correct. I have the cross reference here somewhere. Do you have a serial tag on the trike frame? It will be on the right side, you can see it looking through the wheel in the ares of the bump stop. The tag is something new within the last few years. Mine does not have it.
  11. It never hurts to be prepared The bypass is a quick and easy mod. The thing that takes longest is figuring out where you want the switch.
  12. Gut the tape player and use the empty box as in dash storage. You could remove the front speaker grills, construct a box on one side in place of the speaker and put a flap cover over it like the glove boxes on a HD lower fairing. On the other side use the speaker hole for a gauge pod. With the speakers and tape player removed you have 3 big holes to let water in the fairing, that's not good.
  13. That's the problem with online buys, sometimes things don't go as planned in the end I'm sure you'll be happy. I hope.
  14. I made that ride for 30 years working at Chrysler in Warren ! Believe me I've seen it all on that freeway.
  15. I was thinking more along the lines of an oddball town name, we have one here, Climax, Mi at the edge of town they have a sign with a Bull that has udders, must be a transgender bovine half way through the transformation eh?
  16. I'll be keeping my helmet on around here, just to much traffic and drivers that don't pay attention.
  17. You could always make it a place instead of a thing.
  18. I'm just gonna replace them with polished stainless and be done with it. Thanks for the idea though.
  19. No need to take the risers off.
  20. The first 4 are from my 01 with the factory top tree the next 3 are the Hannigan ez steer top tree.
  21. Is it effective at signing or is there a waiting period ? Don't forget about the extra insurance the law calls for.
  22. No need to worry about that, this is the never ending game !
  23. Let's see how this works. If it is accepted your next target is You, your bike and a statue with a horse and rider. Preferably a war memorial, but not necessary. it can be from any era. See sample pic Happy Hunting.
