  5. Got out for a ride with my wife and daughter today. I asked Jeannie what she wanted to do, she said a ride to DQ was all We enjoyed an ice cream then across the street to take in the local car cruise an hour there then a nice ride around the GM proving grounds, ending up at our son's home for pizza with the family. A great day
  6. Sgt Brian Walker, Your selfless service to our country will not be forgotten. Because of your sacrifice you have helped to protect our cherished freedoms that are anything but free. I offer my condolences to your wife, family and friends. R.I.P. Sgt Walker.
  7. An elderly man on a Moped, looking about 90 years old, pulls up next to a doctor at a street light. The old man looks over at the sleek shiny car and asks, "What kind of car ya got there, sonny?" The doctor replies, "A Ferrari. It cost half a million dollars!" "That's a lot of money," says the old man. "Why does it cost so much?" "Because this car can do up to 220 miles an hour!" states the doctor proudly. The Moped driver asks, "Mind if I take a look inside?" "No problem," replies the doctor. So the old man pokes his head in the window and looks around.. Then, sitting back on his Moped, the old man says, "That's a pretty nice car, all right.... but I'll stick with my Moped!" Just then the light changes, so the doctor decides to show the old man just what his car can do. He floors it, and within 30 seconds the speedometer reads 150 mph. Suddenly, he notices a dot in his rear view mirror. It seems to be getting closer ! He slows down to see what it could be and suddenly WHOOOOSSSHHH! Something whips by him going much faster! "What on earth could be going faster than my Ferrari?" the doctor asks himself. He presses harder on the accelerator and takes the Ferrari up to 180 mph. Then, up ahead of him, he sees that it's the old man on the Moped! Amazed that the Moped could pass his Ferrari, he gives it more gas and passes the Moped at 200 mph and he's feeling pretty good until he looks in his mirror and sees the old man gaining on him AGAIN! Astounded by the speed of this old guy, he floors the gas pedal and takes the Ferrari all the way up to 220 mph. Not ten seconds later, he sees the Moped bearing down on him again! The Ferrari is flat out, and there's nothing he can do ! Suddenly, the Moped plows into the back of his Ferrari, demolishing the rear end. The doctor stops and jumps out and unbelievably the old man is still alive. He runs up to the banged-up old guy and says, "I'm a doctor.... Is there anything I can do for you ?" The old man whispers, "Unhook my suspenders from your side view mirror!"
  8. Might be something to put in your ad, a warning about hitchdoc using a smaller size. I'm not sure about ALL that is the case with the RSV and probably the TD.
  9. Here's some pictures to help you. Taken looking down on the new setup.
  10. operator error What are the symptoms?
  11. I paid 13.5 for our 08' with 10K miles, last fall and it came with a Hannigan trike kit installed. So to answer your question, yes, that is priced too high.
  12. Fuzzy, The hitchDoc uses a 1 1/8" square stinger, if you are using 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" tube it will not work with the HitchDoc. Hope this helps you save some grief. Jay
  13. I have a verticle type hitch from HitchDoc on my RSV. I like it because with the stinger out you can not see it.
  14. Musta been swimming in the nuclear plant cooling pond !
  15. Worked for me in IE
  16. If it's not to late I'll take a 5 1/2" patch Jay
  17. Sorry for the late reply. I mounted the puck style antenna on top of the radio, inside the fairing, works good and is hidden. I have pictures somewhere, I'll see if I can find them.
  18. I used that super tape most people refer to as nascar tape, it has a super sticky adhesive. I took off all but a few small spots of the coating on mine. The shield was great for a while but scratched very easy. I have now cut it down so I can look over it, problem solved.
  19. Ya, Jeannie just reminded me tonight of the wedding. Looks like Joe's gonna have to find a new roomy.
  20. Seems I forgot about a wedding we are committed to going to, it's in Pioneer Ohio on Friday So for now I'm going to have to say I won't be able to make. I'm going to try and sneak away Saturday morning and be at your place before lunch, it's only 2 hours or so away.
  21. Bob, I know you have looked at this thread, I think the talk about how caliper size and master cylinder size interact may be of help to you. I think the new master may be sending reduced pressure but more volume to the brembo's . How does the new master cyl. size compare to what is used in a stock Honda CRX brake system on a car ?
  22. Gary, you got that right, no way to reach it while mounted. I wouldn't think it would be hard to make an extension cable to move it up.
  23. That looks like the new 2013 RSV engine. I'm not sure they'll have room for the cassette deck though
