All I Was Doing Was Adjusting The Passing lights!!
ragtop69gs replied to KeithR's topic in Watering Hole
If you are picking up power for the relay trigger under the fairing using a scotch lock connector that's the first place you should look, those connectors are notorious for failing. Will show power but not pass enough amperage to light the lamps. Or you have a bad ground . -
I just bought a chrome brake cover with "Venture" Etched on it and now need the matching cover that say's "Royal Star" . If anyone has one laying around in a box gathering dust I'd be happy to buy it from you. Plan B is to buy just a plain chrome cover.

The risers are on my 01 RSV it's a 2 wheeler. To answer your question though, No, The rake does not change the handlebar location, the angle of the holes that clamp the tubes is whats altered . I have the Flanders G2 bars on the 08' trike. I have the risers on the 01'

I like Elvis too, but I couldn't help but laugh at that.

OUCH I never believed that 100,000 mile BS even if a plug would last that long, if you never remove them in all that time they will usually seize into the aluminum head and break when you try to pull them, then you have to R&R the head. $48 in plugs every other year sure sounds like a good deal now eh?

I would have to disagree, my last 2 Canon cameras used AA's and I've never been stopped by dead batteries. The batteries last for hundreds of shots or lots of video. When I was in Montana I took over 800 stills and 2 hours of video on 1 set. Over the years I have found it very economical use.

I have risers on the 01 and flanders G2's on the 08 so I have a good point of compairison, go with the flanders bars, more expensive but worth every $$ Cures that pain NOW

I guess asking this question is kind of like asking which oil to use So far most of what's been suggested would be good, but, I'm still no closer to making a choice yet. I'm going to have to go put my hands on a few to see what feels nest for me. Thank you to all who responded so far.

I like the Canon's but those are both above what I'm looking to spend I thought about the gopro, but not very useful as an everyday still image camera.

I think that's the new Ford Submariner

My dear wife has told me to go out and get a new digital camera for fathers day. I have a top $ budget of $250 but the lower the better. I want something that's small enough to carry in the tank bib that I can pull out and shoot while riding, it's got to have a decent optical zoom for scenery shots without a lot of lag time between shots. I'd also like it to have HD video that is not time limited for shooting ride video. I don't take pictures of the night sky very often. I'd use it mostly for scenery, portrait, parts pics and video. The easier to use the better. My last 2 cameras were Canons A620 and a A570IS I'm looking for recommendations from experienced photo shooters or a similar to me novice with actual hands on use, please.

Consume less sugar and cut back on carbs, you'll be resized in a few weeks

Not a bad day at all. Just the 3 of us, Carbon One, Star4772 and I. The plan was to ride into Canada but that changed this morning. We ended up going southwest after a good breakfast. Our first stop was in Hell for ice water, after 3 of them we continued southwest to Onsted, Mi. and toured Town and County Cycle then into Artiesan Wells bar where we ate a big lunch. After lunch we visited Round Lake (see pics below) and stopped for a break, Joe had to sit down on the bench to let his food settle, one look at the bench and you can see why. Then we headed for home.

My Cell phone is in my profile.

Sounds good to me, don't really care where we go as long as I can buy some Alberta Springs Rye whisky at the duty free on the way home

Looks like ( Larry, Joe & I) we're going South of the border into Canada tomorrow. We'll make our way up to Sarnia for the return trip, who knows where we'll go in between both bridge crossings. Maybe Grand Bend. Any of our Canadian friends wanna meet for lunch or suggest some good roads to ride? Any more riders coming speak up now.

Just wondering if the patches have shipped? I have not got them yet and want to be sure they didn't get lost.
