That's the one I have on my bike, it's too deep to be useful, everything gets lost in the bottom of the pouch I'm looking for one with 2 wide but shallow pouch's to put on my wife's trike. This is what I had on the Honda and I liked it alot.

I have use both styles and like the open heal better, they keep my feet dry and I have better foot grip when my feet are down. The ones I have are from tour master.

I am looking for a tank bib for the RSV. Does anyone have one they want to sell? I'd prefer one with the detachable pouch but all others will be considered.

When I poured the slab for my garage 30x48, I used wire reinforcement 8x8 suspended in the slab at half the thickness and fiberglass fiber in the mix, even if it does crack one day ( poured in '96, no cracks) it will not shift or raise. Where I joined it to the old slab we drilled and installed 1/2" steel rods every 12" and felt expansion joints. Keeping the slab damp and covered to slow cure time, that will strengthen the concrete. Pay the money to have enough delivered to do the whole thing at once, it's money well spent. DO NOT USE THE READY MIX YOU BRING HOME IN A TRAILER UNLESS YOU LIVE WITHIN 1 MILE OR THE TRAILER HAS A MIXING AUGER. You don't want the aggregate settling out in transit as its next to impossible to remix in the trailer

You could put each of those roads in my bucket list. I'd love to ride them all. -
Tomephil taking the long road to to the international
ragtop69gs replied to tomephil's topic in Watering Hole
Tom, Measure the shock length eye to eye and let me know, if the ones I have here will work I'll bring them to NY or you can order up some new ones, have them sent here and we'll install them at the rally. The shocks I have are coil overs from a 1970's Honda 50. I have a feeling they may be too long though if my memory serves me well.- 47 replies

We learned that during the great east coast blackout a few years back. We now try to always come home with full tanks and at least 4- 5 Gal cans full in the garage. Don't wait for a bad storm before you go looking to buy a generator, you won't find one when you really need it !

You're turning it the WRONG way

I pull a trailer often and it's easy to forget it's behind me it pulls so nice, even through the switchbacks on mountain roads. Just be sure to load it properly and find the sweet spot for your tire pressures. The only drawback is slightly reduced MPG. You are going to love that trip, that whole area has beautiful roads and scenery. Bar Harbor is a great little town. If you are there for the 4th of July fireworks go to Arcadia national park, get to the top of the uphill grade road overlooking the harbor & Bar Harbor, it's a great place to view the fireworks as you're several hundred feet above it all.

Tom Phillips (tomephil) from Winnipeg, MB paid us the pleasure of an overnight stay on his way to Nova Scotia yesterday. Larry and Joyce(Carbon One and his better half) helped to welcome Tom to the Motor City, We had a good visit and went to see ZZ TOP, 3 Doors Down and Gretchen Wilson at DTE last night. Tom, it was a pleasure to have you and you're welcome back any time. I hope the rest of the trip goes smoothly, you've already had your share of excitement, eh ?

Sorry to hear this ! At least you're still hear to tell the story Shame after all the love you put into that bike. Heal up fast, you got another bike to buy .

Yep, lot's of good roads to ride in the area. Red Dog is where I wanted to take Jeannie but she wanted to go to The Milford House, just south of the Red Dog at Milford rd & commerce, good food in there. The outhouse is on Wixom road in the trout fishing stream parking lot southeast of downtown Milford a few miles. Part of the Proud Lake Recreational park. Nice place to stop and take a break or wade in the river Glad you got to take the old girl for a ride Hopefully you'll be in a position to get another bike in the near future.
