  2. Like Hannigan, CSC started life building side cars and expanded into trailers and trikes also. They have some nice looking designs. I have never rode a CSC, but, would like to some day, as a comparison to our Hannigan RSV.

  6. She put on the "Bum" cream, does that mean she'll be living on the street begging for quarters now?
  7. It's so you can call home for a trailer when your antique breaks down on the road. :rotfl:
  8. I may be interested, what are you asking for them ?
  9. Will you tolerate some tire noise to obtain longer tire mileage/life? (a little) Will you tolerate harder steering to obtain longer tire mileage/life? (slightly) What motorcycle or motorcycle trike are you riding? (08 Yamaha Venture Trike) How many miles do you want a good front tire to last? (25-35,000) How many years at most do you expect a front tire to last? (at least 2 seasons) Must have good wet traction.

  15. Troubleshoot problem Rivco Air Horns.
  16. I like them ! Are they for sale ?
  17. I don't exactly remember, but they are vent lines coming from either the carbs or airboxes. They are supposed to be open and not hooked to anything on the end you showed in the pictures. I too scratched my head for awhile when reassembling after the valve adjustment on what I was missing.

  19. I didn't like that Joe guy anyway :rotfl:
  20. Miles, use this format for nationwide site:craigslist.org yamaha venture -snowmobile you can change the search term to include or exclude whatever it is you're looking for.
  21. Had them years ago for the house and auto's, no claims or tickets and after 20 years they jacked our rates by 30% at renewal ! Needless to say we dropped them and have been with Farmers ever since, Foremost is part of farmers and was $350 higher than we pay now.
  22. Ediddie, I have shopped everyone but Geico so far and all have been 200-500 higher than Progressive. Both the wife and I have no tickets or points, 2 accidents, both of those were someone rear ending her car. My insurance score is 938, I am stumped as to why we are quoted such high rates. If you can write Michigan insurance policies maybe we need to talk.
  23. I've seen used kits and new anywhere from 75-200 depending on number of shims and people bidding. Some kits have 20 shims but only 3 or 4 sizes. The thing to look at is what shims are in the kits, a lot of the shims we'll never use. Read some of the valve adj. threads here and you'll get an idea of the more popular sizes.
  24. Should at least have the bucket tool and a good selection of shims. Most dealers are willing to swap shims at no cost if the kit does not have what you need. Our shims are used on many different bikes so sometime doing the search using those bikes will yield a cheaper price. If Iremember right they're 25mm shims.
  25. E bay is a good place to look for a kit, if you're not in a hurry you can find a decent kit at a good price. Any good mechanic should be able to do the valves. Takes more time to get to them than to do the checks. Plus, then there'd be a kit to pass around the Great White North.
