  1. Gary, what benefits could I expect to see if I were to try your TCI ? I'd want to install it on my wife's trike for added power while towing. How difficult would setting it up be ?
  2. looking like Ignitor has failed in the rear cylinder portion of the control box.
  3. What could cause both rear cylinders to have no spark ? This failure occurred all at once on a 2009 RSV with 9000 + miles on it, is there a common ground wire to both rear cylinder coils? We pulled both spark plug caps and found no corrosion to speak of.
  4. Leo, you are welcome to come along as far as you'd like. Sounds nice Wade, we're going to do the south shore, no camping for us while the wife is traveling with me.
  5. PO probably didn't have enough fork oil so he grabbed the first thing he found to displace some oil volume. Was it noisy ?
  6. That's Nice! Mikes finally starting to get the hang of doing that One of these day's I'll get some of them purty farkles.
  7. After the rally in Galena, I am thinking about heading to the Upper Peninsula in Michigan and seeing Lake in the clouds, Copper Harbor, Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, Mackinaw Island before heading for the barn. I'm asking any folks from Wisconsin and surrounding area's if they have a nice route from Galena up to the Porcupine Mts.? Avoiding interstate travel. Should I plan 1 or 2 days to get up there, my wife is riding her trike and is not crazy about 10-12 hour rides. Where would be a good halfway motel ? Thanks for looking.
  8. One thing to consider is if you start drawing a pension before age 59 1/2 there is a 10% federal penalty tax. I started drawing my pension at 54.2 years age and 32 years on the job. I have to pay the 10% penalty tax till age 59.5 I hate giving the feds that extra $$
  9. Same as the hannigan lock so it should be.

  13. While you have it apart you may as well add a little nitrous kit to it .
  14. That zipper is shot. The pull can be replaced ,but not the spear on the other side. As others said, any seamstress can fix you right up.
  15. Wipe that snow off your bike, it's all white !
  16. Ask Leo, he had his out in the snow, he said it did pretty good.
  17. HA.. go figure. What temp and how long did you bake it ?
  18. Not a flake on the ground here! To the snow I say
  19. Here is a picture of the lock I'm going to try. It's used on vending machines, it uses a barrel style key lock. Turn the key and the lock pops up, turn to open trunk, push down to lock. I'll have to make my own cam. I like the low profile look of it when locked.
  20. Obama must have imported those rule makers from Quebec to write the Obamacare laws!
  21. True that the original lock is round, but with the added leverage of the T handle + the small round base you're putting all the stress in a concentrated area. It may not crack it all the way through, I was concerned about the gel coat & clear coat cracking. If I were to use the handle you have I'd make a steel backing plate to adhere to the inside of the lid to spread the stress across a larger area. I hope for your sake I'm wrong. Time will tell.
  22. I'm looking at a totally different type of lock,it uses a barrel type key, if it works out good I'll post pics and info. I'll be ordering it today. Sorry to say but, I think that round base lock is going to be trouble down the road, with it either spinning in the hole or cracking the trunk lid.
  23. 12 Pack A father and his son go into the grocery store when they happen upon the condom aisle. The son asks his father why there are so many different boxes of condoms. The father replies, ''Well, you see that 3-pack? That's for when you're in high school. You have 2 for Friday night and 1 for Saturday night.'' The son then asks his father, ''What's the 6-pack for?'' The father replies, ''Well, that's for when you're in college. You have 2 for Friday night, 2 for Saturday night, and 2 for Sunday morning.'' Then the son asks his father what the 12-pack is for. The father replies, ''Well, that's for when you're married. You have one for January, one for February, one for March, one for.....''
