  1. I wonder how well the recording would compare to a Gopro or the like. Sure would be nice to get forward and rear view of the bike rides. It is 1080 HD
  2. Congratulations on the new ride. Hope it's everything you expect and more.
  3. I've got lucky number 7 ! Y'all don't cancel your reservations yet.
  4. Sounds better than a tent next to the pond I'm afraid of pond monsters ! I propose that the contest be... Who ever brings you the most used and worn out helmets wins the guest house prize.
  5. And that's the fault of the Bike because........? A liquid diet will fix that.
  6. Jump on it before she changes her mind
  7. The actuator is in the Left lower cowl. The cable junction box is on the Left side under the plastic neck cover. CC cable adjustment is done at the actuator. If you have tassels on your levers they can cause the cruise to kick out while at speed, if this is the case, you need to adjust the screw by the lever pivot to take the free play out of the lever (brake & clutch) Double tapping the set button will set it immediately.
  8. Well Darn, Lewis... thats a heck of a way to start the summer Hopefully everything will not be as bad as it looks now and you'll be back in riding condition before too long. Heal quickly !
  9. Yes, You must use the key to pop it up. I don't see it as a problem because you should have the trunk locked anyway while traveling. The handle has a little slop in it when in the up position, so it will be locked when riding. I'm going to try an o-ring to take up the slight looseness. I like the cleaner look when locked.
  10. I tried one of those carbs, kept vapor locking on me
  11. I got the trunk lock installed. Here are a few pictures, what ya think ? I had to make my own cam for it.
  12. That should work just fine, certainly a cheaper alternative.
  13. Al, The fuel fill we're using should work ok in place of what you pictured as long as the hose size is ok. I'm getting ready to install the new trunk latch, I sure hope all goes well. I have to open the hole to 1" and drill 2 mounting holes. I made the locking cam last night, just need to cut to length after lock is in. You can see pics of the lock in the "lock thread.
  14. If I may, There's no need to adapt Larry's tank, it will work with the Hannigan reverse setup.
  15. Is it possible that he wasn't talking about the bikes exhaust when he made that statement ?
  16. I'm thinking a beach party may be in order once the weather warms up !
  17. You'll be about 71 miles south of me. I don't know the roads around lambertville so I'll be of no help with that. Lake Erie is just east of you, great walleye fishing if ya like that sorta thing. Welcome to the POTHOLE state
  18. Can you go back using the backspace key on your keyboard? Try clearing your cookies.
  19. Al, If you use a smartphone you can download the GoPro App. it allows you to see where you're shooting and control the camera if it has WiFi. Download the free app in google play store.
  20. Or maybe you were hit with a North Korean EMP attack !
  21. Do the same when you have the oil drained from the engine . Tag the key as such.
  22. Not 100% but I think it's where the lower bolts for the bracket that holds the overflow bottle go.
  23. Is there any performance gains to be had when making the swap?
  24. Sorry to hear of your moms illness , say all the things you need to now, leaving things unsaid will leave a hole in you're heart you'll never fill. Best wishes for your mother and family .
