let me tell ya............since i moved to this neck of the woods i have learned one thing.......the weather liars here are rarely correct here when they predict the weather more than 1 day ahead of itself. so im waiting til its time to leave to start believing what they say:rasberry:

I spoke with the hub this morning..... Plans are for the big dinner wed night to be an all you can eat prime rib buffet !!!! This was included in your registration. The BBQ Tues. night....(dont know the menu yet) will be $10 per person. This will be a pay The Hub if you attend. we had approx 64 who said they would attend, they will make sure there is enough for 80. For those who want easy in and out meals: They will have a breakfast buffet each morning for us.........which will be $6.95 They also will have a buffet of some type each evening with a variety of main dishes each night ( catfish, pork loin, etc) cost will be $10 or you can eat in their restaurant . Or go elsewhere if you wish. ***************************************************************** Also they 5 rooms available at the hub right now from cancellations.......i believe they are all King rooms. so if anyone made reservations elsewhere that would like to switch over tot he hub...give them a call.......800-597-9963

now now.no bad karma........ ill wait til its a few days to closer to believe the weather man........... one good thing the temps are sposed to be below average.....low 80's maybe even high 70's and the 60's at night.......perfect !!

sounds like a good time dan.......... we finally got to get out and ride yesterday also.....left the house around 11...met up with a couple friends..their niece watched haylie and their daughter and off we went....hit a few boot and leather stores..dale desperatly needed some new boots...then stopped at "fathead and braindeads" saloon and steakhouse and had some lunch....more riding...a DQ stop.....lol......more riding.....got home about 9:30 last night. we had a great time...weather was beautiful... its been a long time since we got to do this.....

you are absolutely right boss hog........all the committee members need to be mentioned and applauded for all the work they did... Snarley Bill, Roadkill, Colesgrandpaw, Tom, buddy, Dooder1,danob11....ok who am i forgetting? We lost a few committee members who had to pull out for different reasons too....Rosebud, gunboat.I'm sorry if i am forgetting anyone. (Had a very long and head clearing day..got to go riding all day...just got home a bit ago..and im tired and sunburnt....and its been a long time since we've been able to do this and it was awesome.) All the site members need to be thanked also because without them this rally wouldnt happen....we wouldnt be able to purchase the great raffle prizes or give to St judes. And we sure as h*** wouldnt be able to have a such great time when we all get together.... I thoroughly enjoyed working on the rally....I had the free time to do whatever i could to help....it also kept my mind busy during some rough days.... welcome to the site boss hog....we are one big family who support and help each other....

wow momma hog........thats awesome......but ifn your taking a trip like that why cant ya come down to Arkansas for the rally??? we would love to have you guys there we see where your priority's are.......youd rather be around a bunch of wild drunkin naked harley riders than your family at the rally:whistling: if i was you i would check around on the net for campgrounds before you leave and make reservations.....seriously most of the campgrounds book up way ahead of time around sturgis....know this from experience when dale went.

actually the name badge machine belongs to all of us......its being paid for out of the rallys funds........ so if anyone else ever wants to use it for name buttons.......let me know. You may need to buy some more refills for it.....but its here to use.

one more try at this............. are we really only having 6 kids up to age 16 ? the kids raffle will be at the dinner wed night...may even do the kids raffle at the BBQ tues night havent decided for sure yet.........since we have so many raffle drawings going on wed night.... at this point we have purchased 5 kids raffle prizes with the donated moneys and if there are truly only going to be 6 kids there i would like to get another prize so there isnt just 1 kid who leaves with nothing..... so please let us know asap !! time is getting short

dinner is $23.......and thats not necessary to pay the hub if you dont show....... Hopefully they will only charge us for how many actually eat. This count is basically so they buy enough food for the dinner..and with this crowd......more food is usually best !! lets get that baby movin so you can make it.... lets see how to make a baby come.........jump rope.......lemon pie.........nesting.........walking......grandpa yelling "come on":rotf:
