    way to go everyone....we are up to 223 tickets sold.......... you all are keeping me busy keeping my raffle ticket records updated:hurts: looking very very good for a trailer as top prize !!!! keep this up and we may have a really nice second prize also........

    cut off date is getting close...about 1 week away......July 13 9am central time make sure you dont miss out on ordering tshirts.......... please get those final registrations in asap! if you can"t register by then but want tshirts please pm me with your color and size choice so i can get them on the order.....

    thanks to everyone who has come thru in our quest to sell enough tickets for a trailer...... we are so much closer..........but still need a little more push here...... as i said its up to all of you. It has always been tradition to give away a trailer at the international rally........lets not break that tradition this year........ i know times are real tough for a lot of us........ but like i said before if everyone or even half of the supporting members bought 1 ticket......................................... Think what we could do !!!

    then i would do a search on the net of collectors of fostoria and start contacting some of them to see if they would be interested in the collection what it all boils down to is if you are satisfied with the offer(s) you get you also could try an ad on craigslist maybe it would pull out some people in your area that collect i know selling all that on ebay would be a big job but it is still a very good place to research the value of the pieces.

    First of all excellent job on the photos........any collector or dealer you contact would be very pleased with them. Like you said the value varies greatly........ I would suggest you try to contact some collectors and dealers of fostoria and see what they would offer you for the entire collection.....Im sure you could find some by looking around the net. a very good place to research is ebay.....not only in the active auctions but the completed listings....... There are some awesome pieces there...my mom used to have some nice pieces , but nothing like yours had. Sorry to hear about your mom passing, it can be hard to start going thru her things and letting them go. It would be great if you could find someone to purchase her entire collection instead of break it up, but im sure you could get more $$ if you sold each piece separately...good luck and i think you have a big job ahead of you. I guess the only other alternative is to find someone you would trust to give you an appraisal of it all...I think sometimes auctioneers will do that for you

    bump............... come on people isnt there anyone who would like to think up and organize a few games/activities for the kids that is going to be at the rally?? I have a couple ideas I could share with someone, but my plate is too full at this point to take this on too. And maybe gunboat would share what they had come up with also. This doesnt have to be anything difficult, just something to occupy the kids here and there. dont make me do this too.........because you never know what sinister messy ideas i can come up with that involves adults who are present as being the brunt of the kids fun........ I've got to have some time to go riding while im there......

    Ok folks time is getting short......to put it bluntly if we want to have a trailer as the main prize we need to sell 4 or 500 $$ more in ticket sales.......we just arent raising enough to cover the cost of one. So its all up to you guys........ please remember you do not have to be present at the rally to win this prize or what ever prize(s) we end offering if we cant raise enough for a trailer. Your friends and guests attending with you can buy tickets also..... just think if all 1200+ supporting members of this site bought 1 $10 ticket.....heck we could offer a few trailers for prizes !!!!!! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE ATTENDING THE RALLY TO BUY THESE TICKETS OR TO WIN !!!! THIS RAFFLE TICKET DRAWING IS OPEN TO ANYONE WHO WISHES TO PURCHASE TICKETS I know we usually sell more tickets at the rally and at the last minute but we really have to know very very soon if we can pull off the trailer or not, we can not wait til the day before. Let me assure you that if we dont raise enough for a trailer we will be offering some great prizes!! We will let everyone know as soon as possible what the prize will be / or prizes.

    sorry to hear this gunboat.hope everything resolves itself........ gonna have to try to find someone else to volunteer to do the kids entertainment, if we find someone could you forward what plans you had for the kids to them? Ill get back to you on this.....

    Just a "gentle" reminder Cut Off day for tshirt orders is July 13- 9 am central time and we need rally dinner counts by July 27..... please if you want t shirts but will not or can not register by the 13th pm me what color and sizes u want so they can be included in the order.....if i have to order extras after the main order they will cost more....and u will not receive them in time for the rally. I will order a few extra shirts and have them available at the rally to purchase but I am not ordering a lot of extras.....so first come first served on the extra T's

    we are going camping at pomme de terre lake tomorrow.....lamberts in ozark is about an hour from there and we are planning to hit it one night..not sure which yet..... if anyone wants to meet there for dinner........ mon or tues night possibly....

    When considering buying raffle tickets for the 09 rally please remember that you do not have to attend the rally or be present to win the top prize....... We really need to sell some more tickets...the rally is only a month away ! Thanks to all who have purchased tickets !

    We are leaving tomorrw to go campin for a few days...... so if anyone has questions or sends in registrations for the rally i will handle them when we return....which should be thursday evening....I do get my emails on my phone tho. we are going down to pomme de terre lake here in Missouri...relax and do some fishing...and relax...and a little swimming....and relax.... just get away for a breather before the big rally !!!! When i return i expect to find a whole bunch of raffle ticket sales and and some more registrations !!!!!!!!!!! anyone in that area want to stop in and say hello......we will be at the Pomme de Terre State Park Pittsburg Campground site 311
