I just wanted to thank everyone for their support and ideas. After several weeks in the shop, my bike has been restored to pre fire condition. Celli's Cycle Center gets all of the credit!! They did a fantastic job. I learned they did use the "Totally Awesome" cleaner and a lot of elbow work to restore the bike. A parts were replaced due to yellowing and some due to lingering smoke smell. Farm Bureau insurance was wonderful to work with. Weather permitting, I intend to ride the bike away from the dealership this morning!!!!!

Hello: If our state did not require helmets I would still wear one anyway. I survived a crash many years ago thanks to a helmet. We witnessed a single bike crash in front of us in Colorado last season, they do not have helmet law, but I was glad the rider was wearing one. He walked away with only minor scrapes. Just my two cents.

Hello: Using a Condor stand temporarily intalled in the front of trailer might be an option? Very secure and only requires two tie downs on the back of the bike. Keep the stand in your garage for working on and storing your bike in a verical position. I love my Condor stand!

Hello Everyone: Very pleased with Bernie and HER staff at Precision Cycles in Denver yesterday. We drove 4 hours one way to find a cycle store large enough to offer several different selections of "IN STOCK" helmets and accessories. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their large selection of products. We purchased new MATCHING Nolan N103 helmets with intercoms. We will likey be a repeat customer!

Hello: Nice find. My first serious road bike was a brand new 1980 CB900 Custom, same color as yours, same luggage configuration. I do not remember the emblem on mine being upside down? The cost on mine was $5500 if I remember correctly, but it has been a lot of years. Take care, enjoy the bike.

Hello Everyone: Two out our 4 cycle dealerships have had nice looking Ventures in the past two weeks. One sold in less than 24 hours. Staman's Suzuki in Scottsbluff did have I believe a 2007 Venture last week. (9,000 miles) I think. Happy to check on it if someone is looking? Take care. I checked this morning. Bike is on consignment. Pretty Blue, 7600 miles. Owner does not want to sell, but NEEDS to sell. Asking price is $12,000 but I suspect price is negotioable. I took pictures....
