  1. Thanks Bruce: Glad I could help....Phoneman1981
  2. Hello: I cut down my stock RSTD screen with directions from this wonderful site. I covered most of the screen (Both sides) with "Blue" Painters tape, made the cut, filed and sanded the edges with the screen attached to the bike. I really like it after cutting the stock 19.5" shield down to 17". Good luck with your project.
  3. Hello Dan: I am glad you are happy with the Mustang Seat and Backrest. Look forward to riding with you and babe to Cody....Mark (Phoneman1981)
  4. Interesting. Thanks for posting...
  5. Hello: I feel for you. Several years ago I dinged one of my fingers length ways with a power mitre box. 50 stitches later it is still attached today. laid up six weeks. It can happen to anyone. I hope you heal quickly...Mark
  6. Hello Allan: Thanks for the reminder. Now after the fact I did find my notes. I remember you asking about a place to park the RV and Trailer overnight. Keep me posted. If the timing works you are welcome to stay. Otherwise see you in Cody...Mark
  7. Hello Randy: Maybe I was dreaming about Satuday night?? The memory is the first thing to go!!!! I sent you a PM. Thanks...Mark
  8. Hello Frank: Besure to let me know ahead of time if you can. I would ride to Carhenge and meet up with you if possible. Take care...Mark
  9. Hello Everyone: Very nice morning at the moment here in Western Nebraska, but going to be hot later on. Hope to ride a bit today then attend a BBQ at friends. Take care everyone.
  10. Hello Brian: I am new the passing light thing on my RSTD. I recently had my dealer install passing lights and wire them to the highbeams on my bike. I prefer to run with my highbeams on during the day and dim my lights to on coming traffic at night. Check your passing lights on both low and high beams. If they are not working, and coming and going on their own? I would suspect a loose connection or "open" rather than a "Short". Shorts usually will cause blown fuses. A loose connection on the 12v power or the ground side will cause your problem. I hope this helps?
  11. Hello Everyone: Several months ago I offered overnight lodging for anyone stopping in Western Nebraska on their way out to the Cody rally. "Tom" and Debby indicated they might take me up on my offer for Friday night July 22nd. I swear someone else replied to me about Saturday July 23rd, but damn if I can remember who it was? (Getting old I guess?) I looked through all of my past PM messages and cannot find anything. If someone reads this post and has made plans to stop in Scottsbluff, Ne on the way to Cody please contact me and jog my memory. Thanks in advance.
  12. Hello: Interesting. I liked it.....
  13. Hello: We had an enjoyable day in Western Nebraska today. Graderman was in town to pick up his new 2008 (No Miles) from its first service at Celli's Cycle. I had a chance to meet his wonderful wife "Babe". Tinkered on our scooters some. My Grandson and I rode along with Dan on his way home, before turning back. Nice Day!!!!!!!!
  14. Thanks everyone for the hints. I installed the grip puppies in about 15 minutes. A very nice inexpensive improvement!!!!!!!
  15. Hello: I too replaced a Nolan N100E with a new N103. I like the helmet much better than the previous model. Still getting used to the Nolan Ncom intercom.
  16. Welcome to the site. I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do. I ride an RSTD as well and have made several modifications with help from other members. Enjoy...
  17. Hello: I like the stock grips with my modified bar end weights on my RSTD, but have often thought that a slightly larger grip might be nice. After searching and reading about grips here on the site, I decided to order a set of Grip Puppies. They arrived this week. I hope to have time to install them this morning. Any hints or tips. I see soapy water is the key? Thanks....
  18. Hello Tom: Thanks for the compliment, just doing what most other members would do. Nice way to meet others.
  19. Hello: I also have a droid X. I have it in an otterbox defender case. I purchased a handlebar mount to accomodate my otterbox defender case and installed it on my RSTD. I like it real well so far (Beats having the phone on my hip while riding) even if I do not have the blue tooth turned on, I can at least hear it ring) I then stop and return the call. I have not had much time to actually try out the phone with all of its bells and whistles and navigation yet. I hope I do not have sunlight and heat issues?
  20. Hello Victor: Thanks for all that you and the other rally members have done in regards to the rally. We are looking forward to meeting everyone. Take care...Mark
  21. Hello Kevin: Glad you can tell about it. I have been on the pavement once many years ago. Saved by a helmet and coat. It can happen to anyone of us. Take care. Heal quick and get back on!!!!
  22. Hello Tom: Sorry to hear about your illness. I actually thought about you today. We stopped in Centennial Wyoming today and got ice cream. Keep us posted....Mark

  24. Hello: Prayers from here!...Mark
  25. Hello: I had the same issues. The Rick Butler Seat modification has worked the best for me so far.
