Hello:30 years ago this week I asked a coworkers sister out on a date. The sister agreed to go out with me, but mentioned she would only go out with me one time? I did not know she was serious!! I thougt she was kidding. She has never left. This week we celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary with a trip on the bike to Sturgis. Love you Lee!!!!

Hello Everyone: While on our way home from Sturgis yesterday, Patrolman46 and I spotted a couple at the South Dakota Nebraska line with all of their belongings unloaded out of their tour pack. It looked a little suspicious. Evidently they aslo stopped at the border and shut off their bike, however evidently the key and security fob were dropped at the last place they were back about 100 miles in Rapid City. The bike would not start with out the fob. 100 degree heat with a storm approaching. I made a call to a friend and he located a Chadron resident to come to their aid with a trailer. We got the Ultra loaded and hauled to a motel 20 miles away. Their kids drove 5 hours one way to bring them the spare keys. No one got hurt and we made some new friends!!

Hello Everyone: Patrolman, myself and one other local rider had a great time! My wife and I will be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary back in Sturgis again this Thursday the 11th and staying until the end of the rally. If you are in the area give me a call 308-765-0167. I did swap VM messages and text messages with BJ66 and TX@Sturgis, but we never quite made a connection. Hopefully next time.

Hello Everyone: I hope all is well? Patrolman46 and I are making a 5 hour run today to Sturgis. Staying overnight in Sturgis at a local residence. Breakfast with some A.B.A.T.E buddies in the morning and riding back tomorrow. I know BJ66 and TX2Sturgis are there, and it appears Annie is also in the area . I would still like to meet other VR members. Give us a call 308-765-0167. Otherwise my wonderful wife and I hope to travel back to Sturgis on the 11th staying until Sunday the 14th. I second Brian's comments. I have a Nolan N103 with the same options. I really gave it a good test on the 1600 mile trip to and from Cody. I did however install a narrow strip (1.5") of window tint to the bottom edge of the clear visor. That gave me sunvisor type protection from overhead sunlight when my clear shield is in the UP position. Works like a spot sunvisor. When my clear shield is down, I still have a large clear area to look though. Works for me. I have extra window tint that I would share if others would want to try it. I purchased a entire roll for $14.

Hello Everyone: My wife and I are still hoping to attend the rally later next week. We still have reservations in Custer on the 11th 12th and 13th. But may be relocating to a house in Sturgis?? I have also been invited to ride up this Saturday, overnight Saturday, Meet A.B.A.T.E friends at the American Legion in Sturgis?? for breakfast Sunday morning and ride back on Sunday. I hope to stay in the new found house this Saturday to look it over before I commit to changing my motel reservations. Maybe I will see some of you? Take care everyone.
