Hello Everyone: I recently learned from a close friend that if your third brake light bulb burns out it will cause your cruise control to not function. He had it happen on his Chevy/GMC Colorado Pickup last week. I used the cruise yesterday morning on the way to my parents home about an hour away. It worked fine on the trip down, however it did not work on the way home. I remembered the tip and checked the brake lights on my 06 Dodge Ram 1500 and sure enough the 3rd brake light at the top rear cab was out. I purchased a new bulb and now the cruise works again. Not sure how many makes and models of vehicles this happens to, but I wanted to pass the info along.

Hello: I had the exact same problem when I first purchased my 05 tour deluxe. At the suggestion of other members I installed Flanders bars 1" (650-08783). This solved my problem immediately.

Hello: I purchased some small self adhesive adjustable round convex mirrors about 1-1 1/4" from Walmart (I think) I like the fact that I can adjust them to suit me. They come in chrome and black.

Hello Everyone: Finally took a weekend off from Estate issues. Patrolman46 and Babe asked us to attend a 3 day biker event in a nearby town. Took the car down and back on Friday night, but met them in Alliance NE yesterday morning on the bike. while we were waiting for them to arrive, a nice couple from Tulsa OK approached us. They introduced themselves and the husband mentioned how nice my 05 TD and Harley trunk looked. He mentioned they previously owned a 06 RSTD but just traded it for a 2010 Ultra. He quickly noticed a few of the usual modifications. He was not aware of the VR site. They were trailer their new bike to the Black hills and asked for lodging suggestions. We suggested they stay at the Chief Motel in Custer and besure to locate the Purple Pie Place!!! When Patrolman46 and Babe arrived they thought this new couple and us had been friends for years!!!! Donnie took a picture of Dan's 2000MM and sent it to a friend. We crossed paths with Donnie and Holly again in Chadron before we turned and headed west. New friends are a blessing!!!
