  1. So sorry to learn of this. Prayers sent.
  2. Bob: You are so right. I am only 50 and already have aches and pains that are not likely going to get any better. Made me laugh though!!!!
  3. WOW. Total comfort.
  4. 5:00 AM Saturday morning. Enjoying my first cup of Kuering coffee. Reading and laughing at some of the responses. I myself do not like McDonalds coffee. Everyone has different tastes. Have a good day everyone.
  5. Prayers sent his way. Thanks for keeping us posted.
  6. On the VR home page. Scroll down and click on Classifieds. Scroll down and click on Member Vendors. Click on Rick Butler. Scroll down and click on Butt Butler Seat Mod. I hope this helps?
  7. Hello: One of the best and cheapest modifications that I have made to my bike!!!!! Greatly improved our comfort and distance abilities.
  8. Hello: A few times this season I felt like the clutch slipped a few times. Especially when riding two up. (Do not tell my wife I said that). I ordered Skydoc's clutch upgrade kit and have been carrying it with me as a precaution. I hope to install it myself this winter. Hoping to create a mini MD in Western Nebraska. Keep us posted on your repair.
  9. Interesting video.
  10. Thanks for posting. Worried that you were selling yours at first. Not sure I like the fairing either. Nice bike otherwise.
  11. I hope your day was a good one.
  12. Nice Job!!!! Rack and Trunk look great.
  13. That is the attitude to have. You will be so much better off. You can then spend the former cigarette money on motorcycle related items.
  14. Hello: If your laptop works fine, then that rules out the router. You mentioned the laptop will not work on the internet even if it is "hardwired" to the router? Is that correct?
  15. Hello Don: Thanks for the early planning. Patrolman46 and I would sure like to attend if life does not get in the way like it did this season. I put it on my vacation calendar.
  16. After learning about the "Friction Zone" things became much easier for me. When applying pressure on the rear brake, keep the engine RPM's up and let the clutch out slightly. This will cause the bike to "Stand Up", making slow speed turns etc much easier. If you can master slow speed turning, that will help you a bunch. See how slow you can go without putting your feet down. You will soon have the beast tamed.
  17. Got my morning laugh in!!!!! Thanks everyone.
  18. Thanks Bob for the update. Larry, glad to see you are recovering. I was in a similar situation many years ago. My ride was totaled also. Heal well and get back on when you feel the time is right.
  19. Hello: Personally I have never had any issues while traveling with my bike yet. But it only takes once. The cover idea is a good deterent. I try not to leave anything really valuable in the bags and I lock them. Glad you did not lose your GPS. At home is another thing. The batteries out of my and the neighbors row crop tractors were recently stolen. They probably got $8 each for them at the recycling place. Cost me almost $400 to replace them. The cops called me the other day to inform me they know who took them and he is now in jail for 270 days. I hope the rest of your trip is good.
  20. Glad to hear he will be okay. Prayers sent for a full and quick recovery.
  21. Have a good time. Cold and snow here.
  22. Heavy frost and 28 degrees yesterday morning. Greeted this morning by a thin layer of snow/sleet. Mid 30's rain and snow for this weekend here in Western Nebraska. Several motorcycle related events cancelled or post poned.
  23. Hello Larry: Good to hear from you. Keep us posted on your recovery.
  24. Prayers from our family to theirs.
