53 degrees this afternoon. I have a cold and do not feel good enough to ride. Weather forecast is calling for Artic cold front to arrive Tuesday. High's in the Teens and lows at night -10 to -20 below. CRAP!!!!!!

Hello Everyone: Interesting read. After a 25 year absence from the sport, we purchased our "new to us" 05 RSTD in July of 2007. It had 15k on it then. Just what our marrige needed. The bike now has 50K on it and many memories with friends from this site. The bike has had a few near misses. Tornado damaged storage unit, building shifted, could not raise the garage door. Fire at same storage unit a year later consumed 12 other units but stopped one unit short of ours. Heavy smoke damage (No heat damage) but fine otherwise. ( I think I will name her "Lucky") I suspect my wife likes to ride on our bike more than I do.

Hello: If I am correct? I think your pipes are actually Venture pipes and not RSTD pipes. You might be able to modify your pipes to accept the tips, but IMHO it would be simpler and easier to find stock RSTD pipes or other after market pipes that you like and then sell what you have. Just my two cents. Good luck. Keep us posted.

I just did an ebay search for Royal Star Venture Fuel Tank gas. 62 results. Several from Pinwall cycles. $300 on down. Mostly scratched dented dinged tanks. Paint could be another $300? I simply carry extra fuel with me. Have not needed it yet.

Common problem. I used Loctite last time.

Hello: I am sure there are several members with HVAC experience. I know one of the Carrier service people here pretty well. Marc consults with me on technical phone and data wiring issues at times. I may just call him in a while and check in with him to see if he has any ideas.
