  1. Your work setup is similar to Mike's home setup.
  2. Yes Dan....but what did I do to deserve to get snow???
  3. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!
  4. Must be only having accumulation up there sir. It's supposed to rain and snow here overnight and not stick. The news had to tell people to nor run to the store for bread and milk.
  5. Lewis, would you like me to drop by and set the computer up to do voice commands so you don't have to hunt and peck as you recover?
  6. I learned 15 yrs ago that me and the prairie snow do not work well together. I spent a winter in Alberta and while it was a very different experience than Georgia, I'll likely never live in that climate again. With my Cerebral Palsy I was in constant danger of falling down on the packed ice and snow while walking, and I did several times while alone. I was very lucky none of those were bad falls. I'll not rule out going again to the land of snow, but I'd likely be homebound for the snowy season as a result. Not cool
  7. Hubby: Go android. Yeah it has its bugs, but it's not going to be prone to server outages like blackberry, and he can expand the memory and replace the battery, unlike Apple.
  8. I believe the Iphone does have an internal battery as well. I'm not an Apple fan girl so I don't pay attention to them. I would think for those who take their phones apart to replace the internal battery it would void any warranty coverage the phone may have.
  9. Anyone wanting to learn about the contract phones, pm StormRaven, he works at Radioshack and can give you an honest assessment. The new Razr is good, but I think that was one of the phones that must be shipped off to replace the battery if that's needed. Not a phone I'd want myself.
  10. Bob, y'all want to make a drive down to Bonaire soon? Mike or I could show you how they work. I'd offer to go up there, however me and Atl traffic aren't safe together. Mike has homework this week otherwise I'd say wed we could make trip then.
  11. Mike and I got ours on Fri, they are very nice, Still deciding whether to keep them on a keychain or use them on the bike.
  12. I'm stuck inside today....I HATE BLACK FRIDAY:crying:
  13. Hubby says:Being a capacitive touch there shouldn't be any trouble with using a plastic cover with the device (he texted me from work, yes, he really is that bored this morning)
  14. I know nothing about it myself, however my husband would since he works at Radioshack. However he's working the Black Friday sales today (went in @ 5:00est) And he won't be home til about 10pm. Wish I could be more help.
  15. Amazingly taking that car to 150mph out on a stretch of road does wonders for me, so yeah, it's not hot flashes lol
  16. Randy, Dont tempt me, I collect swords.....
  17. Happy Thanksgiving Jeff. Mike and I are celebrating tomorrow, our roommate had to go to his parents this morning to rescue the turkey since they are homebound. I'm being different this year. I am baking a ham, making dressing, and prolly a green veggie if this migraine goes away.
  18. :thumbsup2:
  19. Mike and I have filters on our fans, you can usually find the filter material online somewhere. we have the type you remove, rinse, and return to the fan, it's like a spongy plastic material. I had to do it because 2 desktop computers ago (circa 2007) I had a power supply die in a brilliant display....cat fur killed it.
  20. Use the force Andy....Use the force!!
  21. Not me, I sat on one at a local show, my legs couldn't touch the ground I'll settle with my caprice for those kind of power rushes....May Angels watch y'all who ride those things.
  22. Did you finally get your trike back?

  24. Thank you everyone for the kind thoughts on our Anniversary. Annie, no again we are renting a room. We'll be the oldest people in the house, the other renter currently is 28. The homeowner that is moving out is 23. We'll be doing more celebrating once we move. Our new room is upstairs and is the biggest room in the house. The closet is the size of my bedroom in this house. The bedroom is almost as big as a 2 car garage. For now it works, Maybe down the road we can rent the entire house from him or somewhere else. For now it's $465 for the room and all utils and luxuries. (premium cable tv and internet included) Let's see how long it takes me to fall down the stairs shall we? lol As far as giving the woman a piece of someone's mind, that prolly would have been me. Mike generally won't get in people's faces(except me, I'm not strangers lol) I however will, and if he had stayed still long enough I might have. I saw the look on the driver of the pickup behind the car, he was terrified. I'm just glad we're safe. I hope when that lady's luck runs out we aren't around. And yeah, Mike's a pretty good driver, for that I'm glad, he's gotten us out of some scary situations in the car, now the bike too! Today I'm going to start the packing process Happy Happy joy joy lol.
  25. Mike says if we'd be in the car, he thinks we woulda creamed her, but the bike was able to navigate the area ok even with the loose gravel
