Scary! very VERY scary!

Patching the sheet rock is very simple. I'd open it up to investigate fully....no sense having to do it twice!. The Black area of sheetrock is probably black mold....which is very toxic! It's not really a problem until you disturb it so make sure you wear a mask when you rip things apart!!! You can spray pure bleach on whatever spots remain after you remove what you have to to access the area and that will kill it...but don't play around...do it right!

Kitchener, Brantford...close enough right? I'm sure Marcarl would be happy to help!!

I "retired from a steel mill in Hamilton April '05 at 52 years old. Stayed on the payroll until late September. I played with a business for 5 years...but then that was enough of that and at 57 gave that up too. That's when the VR came into my life! I just turned 59 and have no idea how I ever found time to go to work!

I couldn't go! I had a tenant leave and really trash the place so I've been working on renovating it. Painting from top to bottom, new tile in bathroom, toilet, vanity, taps on jacuuzi tub and sink as well as flooring, putting in new kitchen taps and resurfacing the counter with ceramic tile. Thanks for the pics of the show and M&E. Nice to see some familiar (and yet strange) faces! Mind you...in the pics from Tuckers I don't see a single smile! Was that a conspiracy against the camaera or was the food really that bad?

If I'm going at all....which I hope to...it will be on Friday. So I guess I'll miss most of you.

There's a discount ticket for $3 off, all day Friday or Sat after 5:00 http://www.supershowevents.com/super/ss12-coupon.html I think I'll be going on the Friday. Probably less crowded than on the weekend

I think I'd just say "sorry you don't like it" and that would be that. You invested a lot of time effort and money into his gift. If he doesn't like it then sell it. But I wouldn't be buying him a "replacement" What if he doesn't like the game...you gonna exchange it for another one?

Don't waste your time if you don't like trivia...

It's pop...as in soda pop. Tea is actually any drink made from the leaves of a plant. You can have mint tea or whatever. The thing I find funny is when I ask where a bathroom is...folks in the US look at me like I'm from mars! Bathroom....Restroom....doesn't really matter...if you are in a resturant or most any public building, you don't go to that area to rest or bath! Oh....and calling Tim Hortons "Timmy Ho's"....SAY WHAT? -
I posted a copy of the picture that was part of the EBAY listing from when I bought it in Aurora Il. Friends drove me to Watertown NY, took a bus to Syracuse, then train to Chicago, commuter train to Aurora, taxi to the house....gave it a quick look over and drove it home about 1100 miles (including detours!)

I'm sure all the laws read something like "change lanes IF IT IS SAFE TO DO SO" or slow down. I'm also pretty sure it is only if the lights are flashing...otherwise it is just a parked car.

Those chrome "T"s just make it easier to reach the helmet lock up under the trunk box. Like Randy said, put the "T" through the helmet strap loops and lock the base of the "T" onto the helmet lock. Your bike looks like a twin to my 88. A lot of the same chrome extra's too! I thought I got a deal at $2100 including a HF trailer with box..but I think you might have done a tad better! Here's what mine looks like....like I said...almost a twin! I do have the saddle bag top rails...just not installed on these pictures. I was told to watch out for the radio connection box that clips onto the front of the trunk...they have a bad habit of walking away!

Brake fluid contaminate plastic
Trader replied to saltcreep's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Jayceesfolly had a problem with brake fluid on his newly painted 1st gen faring. you could PM him to see how he handled it....I think he had a thread with pics on what he had to do to repair it. -
Come on Carl....the Americans have NEVER lost a war! (but there was the occasional stratigic withdrawal) Technically, it was the British at war seeing as Canada didn't exist until 53 years after that war ended. So it wasn't the Canadians who Burnt down the white house! But...in the end...it's just a dotted line on a map. Here, we are all just Venture Riders looking foward to the International Rally!

gee....I thought those plugs I bought were a pretty good deal! For a bonus, He offered me a great price on stock shares that gives me part ownership of a bridge in Brooklyn NY or Ocean-front property in Arizona. My choice! Pretty hard to beat a deal like that! What a great guy!

We had a local LEO come to a workplace safety fair and discussed alarm systems. He told us one of the worse is the LIVE 2 way communication system. One here in Canada is ALARM FORCE...he said it is where those monitoring the house can talk to you and listen in you while you are being robbed. He also said sirens and flashing lights are a good thing...but are often ignored by neighbours. How many times have you heard alarms in parking lots and paid no attention?

I loved it!!!! "Did I just buy a goat?" :rotfl: I used to go to animal auctions when I had a hobby beef farm. One time I brought 2 200 lb pigs home in the back of my suburban. Just spread out a tarp and loaded them in. If they went wild I would have been in trouble...they were right behind the front seats with nothing in between.
