I"m not a furnace tech but I THINK the problem may be with your thermocouple. IT senses the heat, and ensures that the burner is lit. If it doesn't register, then it shuts off the gas flow. I doubt it's the spider problem because the burner IS lighting.

I have rear running lights which are wired directly to the ACC fuse block thru an illuminated switch. (switch lights when rear lights are on) What I want to accomplish is to add a relay feeding this switch and a 2nd switch for my front running lights. I already have the 2nd illuminated switch mounted on the dash.....now I just need to know how to wire it up! I have this wiring diagram for relays (see attachement) but CAN or should I run 2 switches off one relay? and how would I do it?

There was a proposal for a fish farm in our area. They did a study and determined that the numbers they needed to be profitable was way too many "fish per sq metre" of water volume and the water would become too polluted with fish crap and disease etc would be a problem. Plus they said the outflow of pollutants would be so rich that it could actually kill the lake the outflow pours into.

I know its been done before...but I'm having issues! I should be getting all kinds of hits with this search.... I do get 3500 or so if I look at all types....but if I look at "auction" it drops to 20! There must be several thousand ads out there! Can someone correct what is wrong with this search? It should be looking for any ads with the quoted words, minus all the others. ???????????????????????? For our Canadian members, I called "The Source" and they still carry the switches listed. There were some of each type at the store here in Kingston.

Twice....both in the car. once on the superslab in the winter...woke up as the truck bounced off the snow bank alonside the center barrier.....no damage done once after night shift. The gravel shoulder on the wrong side of the road woke me up. Thankfully no one was coming.

When I first got my venture I was on a cottage road that ended up being soft sand! The front wheel just washed out and down I went....very gently...but down just the same. I couldn't Walk it up.....my feet just slid out from under me in the soft sand. Thankfully there were trees on both sides of the lane because I ended up having to use a small block and tackle and hoist it up on two wheels! Then it was a LOT of fun getting out of there.

The first thing I would do is check each cyl. temp individually. Just run it for 30 sec or so then CAREFULLY feel each exhaust and compare. These bikes run amazing well on 3 cyl. When I bought my first VR I figured everything was good....then when I bought a 2nd one a few months later I was amazed at the power it had! Turned out the first one was only running on 3 cyl!

You are going to get a lot of different answers. Sort of like asking if you should buy a ford, chev or dodge. The big thing is to be sure that the oil you use does not have any anti friction additives. Our wet clutches don't like that stuff!. I use 40 wt diesel oil....Rotella

The 85 is the black with burgundy the 84 is the blonde The 85 has a engine from an 88 He had 2nd gear issues early on so he switched engines...I got the 85 low milage engine as part of the deal...but like I said 2nd is gone. SO.....I'll be selling the 85 (with 88 engine). It's a standard but has a stereo with a "bubble cover". I'll post pictures when I'm ready to sell it.

Trying to catch up to Yammer Dan....but none of them are blue! Going to drive 6 hours each way to pick up these 2 bikes. Getting both of them for $1500. 1984 Yamaha Venture Royale in good condition needs 2nd gear replaced but can still be driven or for parts. 1985 Yamaha Venture in good condition has a 1300cc motor from a 1989 venture so no 2nd gear issues, runs and rides excellent. Also have another running 1200cc motor
