In Excel.....I have a column of numbers and I want to count the number of entries. Some of the numbers include letters (ie: 31, 31a, 32...) In the next column, I have comments. I'm trying to figure out a formula to say: Count the number of entries of numbers and letters within the range in column 1 and MINUS the number of comment entries in column 2. I get messed up because it is not all straight numbers. not all numbers have comments beside them. Counting Empty cells will not fit my needs. I'm going to need to do this and combine the totals for 4 ranges of cells. any suggestions?

the 2nd gear problem does not make the bike junk. a lot of guys have still happily ridden many thousands of miles by just "ignore" 2nd gear by shifting from 1st to 3rd. These V4 have enough torque that it is hardly missed unless you are the type to want to "get it on" all the time.

I'd love to see close up pics of how the drive shaft was adapted.

Quitting is just a decision. It's not easy....but its just a decision. I stopped quite a few times....but it was because "I really should"....not because I really wanted to. Once I had the proper motivation it was just a decision and it was surprisingly easy. We all know that smoking can kill you. In my case I came to realize that by smoking I was actually showing total distain for the gift of life. I realized that it could be compared to receiving a valuable gift from someone you care about then stomping it into the ground right in front of them. So to stop displeasing my creator, I quit. Easy decision. Easy to do with the right motivation.

It was mentioned that Ozone in the atmosphere is the cause of cracking. That may be but I would think that UV light is also a major contributor. It causes rubber and plastics to dry out and get brittle. The shields you see on RV are not air tight....but they do provide shading for the tires. I used to have a fleet of mobile signs...you know the kind.....plywood face with changeable florescent chloroplast letters. After a couple of years use you could almost crumble the letters in your hands.

Can't help on the visual side....but you can set it so that it will vibrate as well as sound...so even if you don't hear the ringer you will feel the vibration. my LG shows a little number on the message icon when I get email or text.

The BEST liver..... Coat the liver in flower and fry in butter at a high temp just long enough to make the outside crisp. then put some water or so in the pan....not enough to cover the liver. meanwhile, fry some onions, green peppers, mushrooms and a few strips of bacon. Put bacon and veggies over liver , cover and simmer You can add a bit of gravy browner and add flour to thicken gravy if needed. YUM! Now...having said that....my brother won't touch the stuff. He points out the function of the liver is a TOXIC FILTER:stirthepot:
