  1. If you have CLASS just pump up your rear to maximum....that will lift the rear and make it easier to put it on the stand. I drive the rear wheel up on a piece of 2x6 (2 x whatever) which makes it easier also.
  2. How about mimicking the original pattern using purple and pearl white?
  3. Sorry guys....didn't mean to tease y'all! I found the MOTORCYCLE lift on Kijiji and bought it used...but in like new condition. The table barely has any scratches on it! It was from Princess Auto originally..... their house brand name is "Power Fist" So far the only thing I don't like about it is the access plate to get to the lift cylinder is right where the center stand lands so all that weight is sitting on the weakest point. I ended up using my other jack to lift the bike and then lowering the center stand so it didn't shift backwards while putting it on the center stand. Then the stand lands just in front of the access plate. You can't just reverse front to back either....it would teeter totter if I tried loading from the front side.
  4. Which is why you can change the clutch when on the side stand without loosing any oil at all!
  5. Retails new for $599 plus taxes I got it for $300.....like new condition. Happy! Happy! Happy! Joy! Joy! Joy!

  9. not entirely sure of your question.....but the intercom is voice activated.....no need for a talk button unless you have a CB.
  10. Rotella T 15w40 20% off (not wonderful but better than full price) 59.99 for a 18.9L pail works out to $3.18 per L.
  11. When I bought my HF Trailer in Chicago (off ebay along with my bike)I was worried about bringing it across the border. I read that you can't bring a "kit" trailer across. So I left it in the US, came home and got a plate from one of my other trailers and just drove it across. When I got home.....it became a home made trailer and I registered it as such. No problem. Turns out because the registration tag says "complies with all regulations" or something like that, it would be OK to import. Anyway....as it turns out when I brought it across I had not tightened the plate very well and it is sitting somewhere between Rochester and Buffalo! It came across with NO plate and it was not even mentioned.
  12. Happy Anniversary guys! You guys deserve each other! No....no! I mean that in a good way! to both!
  13. Mine is the same.....I have to push the clutch out sometimes to get it to engage. You can always get one of those "cramp busters" if the cruise becomes too unstable. They allow you to use the palm of your hand on the throttle http://www.ebay.ca/sch/i.html?_trksid=p3984.m570.l1313.TR2.TRC1.A0&_nkw=cramp+buster&_sacat=0&_from=R40
  14. you know what????? I'd be willing to bet it's the connection for the intercom!
  15. pm me and we can try it out
  16. I won an auction for a Garmin 760....total including shipping was $76 It didin't have the suction cup dash board holder so I ordered one from a differecnt vendor. Now I get an email saying "oops! Sorry! Can't find it" So now I gotta make sure I get my FULL refund plus I'll end up with the extra holder that will be a total waste of money! What really Tees me off is that I missed out on 2 others that looked like a good deal in the meantime. Today I only see 1 for over $90 PLUS $30 shipping. GRRRRRRR
  17. ahh! curiosity satisfied! Thanks!

Very much enjoying your reports about ride!
  21. What is this plug? on my 88 VR I found this plug under my seat that I'm not sure what it is for. I don't have a passenger "box' for the intercom etc....we've found it has less static if I just plug my wife's headseat directly into the 5 pin cord. Is this for the passenger intercom "box"? (Don't know what it's called)
  22. That's helping? Folks on this site will help for a LOT less than that! I thought Helping was more like share a beer or two over the evening while you work on your bike together....you know....like friends.

  24. That is interesting news to me. As much as it is a pain....I was always told they DO have the right to use the full lane.
