  1. Yeah....when you get old and slow it so much easier to lose your grip also.
  2. Look around long enough and you'll find one as good for about $1000 less.
  3. ya gotta wonder why they sterilize the spot for lethal injections.....
  4. I noticed the BMW article in the previous post doesn't show a picture from the rear of the bike. I'm sure that is because the BMW, like so many bikes today, have saddlebags that look like they were just an afterthought stuck on the side of the bike. I much prefer the the bikes that look like the bags are part of the overall design. just moho
  5. Hey Jim....looks like that boat has a hole in it right up at the bow (or stern) I see a black patch....like right thru it!!!!!!
  6. Can you read the plate in the original photo? Should be easy enough from there.
  7. not related to death wobble...but "certain people" who may have been out on a boat might be interested. http://www.nbcnews.com/business/harley-davidson-recalls-some-14-motorcycles-8C11408038
  8. Ok....well.....first you get the equipment ready. Whips....chains....fleece lined handcuffs..... Then......
  9. might give them an "out" for clutch and rear shock issues
  10. This is for all my Canadian (and northern US) friends ....even if the USA folks don't get the joke about Fahrenheit feeling warmer.! Good close ups of guitar rifts....should be easy enough to follow or figure out [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsOMeru8pxQ]Snow Is A Four Letter Word - YouTube[/ame]
  11. Or that we burned down the white house!
  12. If you have to pull the starter anyway I would replace it with a 2nd gen 4 brush starter. Then you don't have to worry about the grounding mod and it will eliminate the "slow crank when hot" issue so common with the 1st gens
  13. Don, Is that a $90 total increase or just $90 more for your Harley? I know up here insurance is a lot more... if I have 2 bikes it basically doubles even though I can't ride both at the same time. . But if I was to drop the one and pay $90 more on the other, it would still be a net gain.
  14. I've only been to the one IR.....Galena this year. But I'm of a like mind with MarCarl....(as scary as that is)...the prize table part was pretty slow. That is not a complaint to the organizers. I think they did an amazing job But it is the process itself. An hour of restricted talking so everyone can hear while numbers are called out is boring. Do we really need prizes of what seemed to be 100 T'shirts....one at a time? (I won 2) I'd much rather see fewer, larger prizes.....and MORE FIRST GEN!!!!!
  15. I'm not that old. I'm only 40:whistling: But in a couple of months I'll observe the 21st anniversary of my 40th birthday.
  16. Jerry is your friend's daughter isn't she? So doesn't that make you some kind of dirty old man or even "weird Uncle Jack"?
  17. Crash avoidance is old news.
  18. i'd be interested in the class control if the price is right.
  19. . It seems pretty sure it's not your problem...rather the buyer's! It sounds like you have proof of delivery...so it should work out to your benefit...but PLEASE let us know. Hope it does:thumbsup:
  20. But, something we might be missing here.....When buying on ebay USUALLY the item is paid for before it is shipped. Did you receive payment already? I like to expect the best from people until they prove they are not worthy of my trust...but I've been burned twice in the past, so now it's pre-payment before shipping.
  21. It must have been VERY short. The link is not working.
  22. I thought that was one of the 4 letter words that we weren't supposed to use on this site?
  23. I would ask for a copy of the police report to be sure the guy is not trying to scam you and be sure you either get one or find out a report number....something you can follow up on. Also verify that UPS did "drop it over the fence" I thought UPS needed either a signature or a pre-existing contract to drop off a package without a signature? Either way....he says it was delivered....You did your part and so he has to pay for it....but good luck with that:mo money: If it is a scam, then Probably the best you can hope for is to get him barred from EBay....which is meaningless because he can just sign on again as a different user.
  24. Sounds like a deal! $50 for the tub and $400 in gas. Texas is a LONG way from SW Ontario. Somehow I think Ground-Hugger got it. (only because he beat me to it.)
