We have Canada's largest Canadian Tire, a Lowes, and Home Depot all within 5 min of each other. Lowes is the worst for having knowledgeable staff but when they don't have what I want (which is often) HD has it. Our HD has a lot of retired tradesmen on staff but you have to go in the day....evenings are usually the inexperienced younger ones. Canadian Tire is the worst for packaging! Almost everything seems to be packaged. They will put 2 screws in a package and charge you $.99

REALLY? I gotta think that anyone who would give up bikes just because he/she has to wear a helmet doesn't really love biking! Who gave up driving when seat belt laws came out? Who gave up going to bars or restaurants when no smoking laws came out? My own opinion???......helmets save lives and reduce the cost of public health costs. When I went to Don's MD and the IR last year I rode a SHORT distance without a helmet. But I found I was uncomfortable Maybe it's the same as when I don't fasten my seatbelt....its just not what I'm used to anymore and so feels uncomfortable.

Looks like the cooler rack was re-welded after it was painted...you can see the burnt area. If that's any indication of the strength of the other welds......

Although it seems to be that I don't have much money.... I have a strong bond with Jehovah, my creator, and have dedicated my life to serving him and helping others learn about him which provides me with much joy and a full purpose in life. I have a wife I love more than life itself I am surrounded by good friends...and no matter where I go I know my brothers and sisters will welcome me with open arms. I have sufficient food and a home that is good enough. I have my bike. What more could any one ask for? The Reality is ......I AM RICH!

I think that a 5 night stay at ANY one resort is too restrictive. It reduces the options. As has already been suggested, a better choice would be a gift certificate for a CHAIN of hotels. I don't do a lot of long distance rides...but a weekend here or there within a 500 mile radius would be nice. Someone suggested hotels would be no good because they camp. But come on....as enjoyable as it is, I camp because it is cheaper! PERIOD! If I could afford to stay at a hotel I KNOW my wife would much rather do that. AND...as I have said in the past....don't forget parts/bling for us 1st Genners!

Saw an awesome documentary called "Chasing Ice" it shows some pretty amazing pictures of the glaciers receeding. I would suggest you don't put off visiting Glacier National Park too long. The suggestion is in not too many years people may wonder how it ever got it's name because there won't be a glacier anywhere around there!

But you know why? You used to get up at 5:00 am, go to work, run a few errands on the way home, play or visit with the kids for a little while, then get to work on those renovations until midnight. But we didn't FEEL busy. Now....it's like "sorry, I can't do anything on Thursday....I have to go to the doctors" In fact....I've heard it said the reason we retire is to make time to go to all those doctor's appointments. Or maybe....go grocery shopping. That's the whole day shot!

I hate scammers...but please explain. How does giving someone your paypal ID open you up to a scam? They need the email address....and that's all. That IS the paypal ID isn't it? I've bought a bunch of stuff thru paypal.....what am I missing here? I can't believe anyone would be stupid enough to give them passwords too!

My opinion....for what it's worth.... Unless the new sponsor is MUCH cheaper and offers many other items (which from what I can see it isn't and it doesn't) ....I think this site should be loyal to our long term member vendors. I have bought a couple of the Condor Braces....they are good quality, good price and I like the idea of supporting MEMBERS!!!! It's for the same reason I buy most of my parts and mods from Skydoc

after a 20 year drought I got my 83VR 3 1/2 years ago. Rode it for one season. I bought an 84 for parts (planning on restoring the 83), but it was so good I ended up riding it for 1 1/2 years. Then I somehow ended up with an 88VR with lots of parts and a trailer from ebay so I sold the 84 That was 2 years ago Last summer ('12) I bought 2 more...one to flip and one for parts. I've spent just enough on maintenance and parts on the others that I can't afford much else....so the 83 is still sitting half naked, with nothing being done to it. LOTS OF PARTS FOR SALE!!!!

Is Condor happy? Is there anyway to see all the sponsors without having to wait for the banner ad to cycle around?

1- SEAFOAM will fix it 2- CASSETTE DECK...really? 3- Tires...don't go to the dark side! 4- OIL...mine is the only logical choice There....I think I just covered 50% of the posts. So no wonder nobody has much else to add!
