you do know you can attach pictures without embedding them in a program like excel or Word right? I know I am uncomfortable opening up attachments from an open forum. -
2nd the ratchet strap idea. Then again......it looks like a paddle wheel.....thought it might be a pump of some kind but there is no real gasket surface

With rambling posts like that Carl I'm sure the people in the white coats could find a room for you!

He's dead. He's not riding.....he's just dead. Same as the ancient Egyptians who had a boat in their pyramid to float them over to the afterworld. How'd they do?

I just applied for a free sample but I'm wondering if I'll get it because it is volatile and therefore can't be shipped internationally via usps. or at least that is what I think is the case The form did accept a Canadian address.

chains and studded tires are illegal in Ontario. This is the first year in about 15 that I even bought snow tires. I used to take my car to a big empty lot and play in the snow and ice. Like a big skid pan. That's how I learned to drive in winter. Front wheel drive may pull you thru better...but I always liked rear wheel drive for skid control.

I rode home from work in Hamilton ON. with more than 2" of snow with my old 900 seca!!!! Mind you....I was in my 30's then and could hold the bike up using my legs as outriggers. Couldn't do now that in my current shape or with the weight of the VR

You all should just be thankful I don't post more. You may notice that I don't comment much on the technical stuff. That's because I might do a job and actually be successful at it...but a week later don't ask me how I did it because I probably won't remember. So I just add my here and there....try to incite a smile or two and that's about it. I post too much to be a lurker....but Hi anyway! -
you need to slow down so you buy a 2nd gen! you must be getting old yammer!!!

I'm not so sure I want to be friends with anyone who would have someone like me as a friend!

Only a REAL MAN can wear pink. or is it just "off red"?

Like so many threads....this one ended up in the toilet! Is that what they call "potty humor?"

The argument has been made that every alcoholic started on mothers milk! I used to be very much pro marijuana. I used to deal as much as 5 pounds a week. Not to make money off the weak....but so I could party with my friends for free. That was then...this is now. On the pro side.....the drug problems and related crime are not really pot related. You just don't hear about murders and robberies because someone NEEDED to smoke up. It's the crack heads and heroin addicts. Pot heads are too mellow to cause major problems....other than a munchies shortage. On the down side....I now realize that my memory sucks. (Long term loss of short term memory) What was I saying??? Oh Yeah..... I wasted about 10 years of my life sitting around just shooting the breeze about nothing and getting stoned. I'm probably a lot lazier now than I would have been without it. On a religious note....the Bible talks about avoiding the defilements of the flesh. Smoking is one of them...regardless of what you smoke. IMHO

Well.....I guess the good news is the bike started!

I posted about some I got from EBay in another thread. There was next to no difference between the running light and the brake light. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=81878 Don't waste your money on these! -
