1. I just installed a in-dash duel Gerbing Controller and when I have it shut off it is off. I also have 2 duel controllers and when there off there off. I am loving this new jacket and pants just put them on over my clothes. NO MORE LINERS And you should REALLY be connecting direct to the battery with an in-line fuse that is supplied.
2. will this help ? http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=15370

Bon Voyage!

But you came back up side down, was it worth that ?
4. Did another 100 miles yesterday ,first time with two up , EFM did real well. I have the down shifting down pretty much now. seems to do really well no matter what you throw at it. IE: like extra weight.
5. This might help. lest you don't have to make them :-) http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=492
6. Oh man that would be so cool pulling that with my 66 Beetle wish I had the funds.
7. I have removed it from a few tires and it comes off with ease with water. yes it forms very nice in the middle of the tire. been using it now for 6 years. love it.
8. Bob, I have emailed Larry a few times about it, but he don't like anymore Heck I still don't know the cost yet .
9. Wish I had a skid plate
10. F4 went to that from a clearview and I never want a vent ever again.
11. Buy it on Amazon not direct from ride-on..... Just a little FYI for ya...
12. YES, I like it, still learning the down shifting part . I think I almost have that figured out. Garry the owner will make anything right but he is the type of person that thinks that we should know what he is talking about, his instructions are not to bad but no pictures at all. If you should decide to do this call me when your ready and we can go over a few things. Seems to work really well tho. still deciding if I want to put my OEM clutch disk back in to see how they work. I had some brand new Barnett Carbon Fiber disks laying around so I tossed them in there. I did learn if you don't use anything on the gasket for the cover you can removed it several times :-) I do not have any leaks. So for now I am keeping the set-up this way, only have about 200 miles on the EFM now, I just need to get more riding time in. I have no future plans on going back to the stock clutch at this time. As far as the parking brake its still in the (works). Hannigan had a problem with the vendor that supplied some of the machined parts and they said they do not want to do the parts for them anymore. Soooo Hannigan is having another company re-tool for the parts they need. This HAS to be done as in Canada it is a law to have a parking brake on there Trikes. So I am thinking about another month for the parking brake. For now I am using a looped Velcro on the front brake OR I just use a little portable wheel chalk I have in the trunk. or park with nose in against something LOL
13. Thinking she had a liking for you all she wanted was a bike ride .
14. Thinking about it is a good thing !!

16. Larry, mine will do the same thing if I do not add the front clamps was fine on ver. 1 of the lift bracket but the ver. 2 the trike seems to tilt to the left. I talked to you about this last year when I was adding my reverse. when I add the two clamps all is good. just my 2 cents.
17. That's the Tike Lift made by Carbon One. look at my photo, same set up, even the jack! That is also a very easy fix with 1 more small jack under the left rear shock bolt. Use the other jack under there as well. The bar will bend back when the trike comes back, if not , cut it off later the rod metal is pretty soft. If you don't have a small jack then find a couple guys and have them lift on the down side while you are on the other side using the jack. First bring up the ATV jack (just to the left side of the stand, it should already be there now) for more support. then start using the other little jack one at a time back and forth then then bring the 2 down little by little. (Bring the small jack in from the front side of the left fender to that shock bolt.) Thought it was way worse. and stop using those legs :-) And no you don't need to store it up high like that all winter just roll it from time to time about 6 inches. I only live right down the road from you , so we have the same winters. Oh, and get rid of that kick stand :-) NOTE: look at my photo and notice the two huge hose clamps I use them every time , and band the front of the stand to the main frame on the trike right up front on each side, then this will stop any movement like you just had. Before you start all of this make sure you have your 3-- 2X12X12 wood pads under all the tires so you main lift will come out easier, and will give you a bit more room the cut the rod out or maybe hammer it enough to slide it out. Good Luck!
18. One small floor jack under the one shock/bolt on the low side the other under the low side in the front on the bikes frame should help get it level to put the ATV jack back under, the rod will bend pretty easy.
19. This is what he has I think.. I have never had a problem with it and it works very well. I have had the trike up 2 plus feet or so . that is what one of the legs looks like that I never use. to make it more stable I use another jack up front. or jack stands
20. He is using Larry's Trike lift adaptor like I have and he should have been using the sears ATV jack of similar . I never did like the legs myself the jack must be all the way to the rear next to the fender almost touching.
21. Go barrow some small floor jacks maybe 3 of them and work it out.
22. I take it you have removed the passenger seat before correct? If so remove it once more and see if the seat rubber feet/pads under there are not rubbing on any wires on the top of the false fender This happens when your alone ? OR do you have a better half sitting on the seat? Just ruling out some stuff. I am sure now that you have the correct LEDS in the rear if your the Original owner and you had this done at the shop. Hannigan uses a board with the right stuff on it to not mess with anything else. the boards cost around $100 each. I have them installed in my old Beetles as well.
23. EDS, When was this converted ? Are you the original owner ? Hannigan uses a special type board for the rears. If a past owner changed them out to like a Custom Dynamics Board that will happen, as I did that same thing to get rear brighter. however I had to use diodes to make my blink brighter when going with a different board. going to work now, but you can call me tonight. I might have a few more Ideas for you. Jeff
