OK guys mine installed pretty easy today, took about 40 Min's as I had to cut and file the cam to my liking. So far I am liking the chrome plating on the handle on the short locks better and they can be swapped out as well to the larger lock. At lest all of us have the same damn keys so if you loose one I have spares

OK Gang, here is a pic of both large and small locks with the OEM cam in the middle of the mess. at lest you have more working room with the larger cam that comes with the unit on the right.. I will be cutting mine to match the OEM cam from the larger cam. the small just almost works but barely. I also will be using the extra nut from one of my small units so there will be two to make a better locking as well. The post's have been revised about 2 days ago to show the correct one. There was a mistake made in error on the first time it was posted. The vendor as fixed the problem and now he shows the correct one we need for the Hannigan. as it was not showing last week. He shows several different type's of (T's) on his site and they look the same. I got the link from Trike talk and posted it here . The correct one is linked to the eBay site now. if yours match up with it, then your fine. thread length and cam. the wrong one was like $575 and the new type is like $6 something. the hole size will be the same.

I hope you have read the above revised post about the (T) handle. As the correct one comes with the straight cam on it and the longer threads as well. So a few of use have re-ordered the correct (T) Lock. Jeff

I think that round base lock is going to be trouble down the road Thats what has been in my trunk since day one though. Maybe I am not following you. I also noticed how thick the trunk is when removing the old lock. not even worried about cracking. can't wait to see yor pics

Haven't you guys got your wrong lock yet? Just wanted to know what you thought about them? I know my first package took 2 days but my last one took 5 days .. They are out of IL . Jeff

Just a picture. As I have done this before when I had to add a whole new trunk lid a few years back... There is a 1/2 inch bolt that holds this stop bracket on. and it will slide back and forth for you to be able to adjust your tension on the trunk lid. Make since? There is a Molded threaded rod into the Fiberglass body for this to attach to. I had it off so I thought I would shoot a pic of it. as it is really hard to see under there. [ATTACH]75011[/ATTACH]

I just got mine as well about 6 months ago your gunna love it,I have the frontier. Love the Crew cab. never thought I would. Great place to throw all your junk :-) Just added the roll up cover on the back. I also made sure I got the full 6 foot bed as well So far it is awesome. BTW The Silver Nissan is FASTER
