I see this is a 3 year old thread..... Anyways been Using the Sena 20 for about a month now and we are really enjoying them. Since 2014 Sena has made the speakers outstanding, and you can hear stereo these days thru them. wife can listen to her tunes I can listen to mine. we never use the bikes system now days. the cords have been tucked away. battery life last more the 8 hours now for us. we can here the GPS, MUSIC, PHONE, And Talk. you can program changes via voice or using the app on your phone. what I also like as I can not hear very well out of one year, I can now hear clearly when the wife talks, ( not sure that's a plus lol) and the music is way better from the Sena Speakers then the bikes speakers. I have decided that I am done with the standard headsets now. I paid around $200 a set for them the last time thinking they would be better, NOT !

thanks, but what pressure to start with :-) been running 40 for the front. so I get to 49 so we are at almost 50 lbs
-
On another note I always use RIDE-ON in all 3 of my tires and they claim it make's the tire run cooler as well.
-
So how does anybody know how high there tire pressure is with out a monitor. now I wish I didn't know LOL but I am most certain most of using a bike tire is climbing that high, the temp that day was about 78 out. and on interstate 80 .

Since I have my Zumo 595 running with the Garmin tire monitors I am showing after about a half hour of riding that my front tire ( on the trike) that I keep at 40 lbs when I fill it. ( commander 2 rear up front) will run all the way up to 49 to 50 lbs . maybe I should reduce it to like 36 lbs ? what do you think? :-) The rear car tires seem to only go up about 5-lbs diff.

Purolator Oil Filters - 14610 & 14612
Cougar replied to Du-Rron's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
NAPA Gold filter ! -
Just did that last week, filter cost was $23 each, just remove the 2 bolts and unscrew the clamp and your done other side I believe I removed the 10 MM bolt for the brake fluid and just moved it out of the way and do the same bolts on that side. piece of cake. :-) filter off un-screw the Philips head screws off each filter housing, then you will see 2 more inside the plastic jug holding the filter in place un-do those replace filter. and what utadventure says .... ( universal joint ratchet helps with the 2 bolt at the start. Good luck! Jeff

Wind Screen bolt on bar ?
Cougar replied to Cougar's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Ok this is what I am talking about, even stopped by the stealer for something else. I even bought a couple of these as well. The parts guy says a bolt go though it from the back side to expand it , not sure how you get a bolt in the back side in that location. Mike, I have a present for you. oh and there was no part number on his screen for that bolt, it is looking like the same bolt as what we use for mounting the windscreen. Thanks for your help everybody ! Jeff Jeff -

Are the 1st and the 2nd Gen Front rims different ? I was looking at some on Pinwall wall and they look the same in the photos. Edit:: MAYBE THERE SHOWING THE LATER TOUR DELUXE ? there the same ? Thanks, Jeff

how do you remove the inner fairing?
Cougar replied to steamer's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
IT HELPS to take PHOTOS :-) -
Yes talked to Jim for along time about it. But called for a diff reason. this is not the head bearing. This is a bike problem. Jim didn't have a clue what could be wrong.
