I think it would help a bit. but if I had stock speakers and was going to go to the trouble of putting the baffles in I would change out the crappy speakers myself. they are terrible. my 2 Cents! Jeff

Got my wife a new dell 1721 laptop . it has Vista on it. She love's it.! But I can not stand it. All the other 5 systems in our home have XP on them and that is going to stay that way! I did find out that if you use and external drive on Vista It will see it as memory and run faster. I also noticed how all the firewalls do slow the system down a bunch. One thing I can say it is very protected. (sheesh) Jeff

It should help the Front speakers a whole Lot! I am doing this today or tomorrow. The fronts lose's way to much from the sound falling into the fairing. I also am still gunna add the baffles to the rear as well. NOTE: if installing baffles make sure you cut a dime size hole into the bottom of the baffle for the air suction. Good Luck. Jeff

Yep, next year is one for my rider for sure. cuz I pretty much use it year round and even for plowing this darn snow as well. I already in 3 years have gone through 3 lead acid battery just on the rider. with that cost I could have gotten an Odyssey Battery by now. Jeff

No, Only about two years now, but is guaranteed for 10 years. I am sure it will go that long too. I will post in 8 more years! And we all will see if it is still working then! what I really love about the battery is that I now do not have to remove it during our freezing cold winters in Iowa anymore!. It will not freeze. Jeff

Bill, ya know you are allowed to try them out with-out riding the bike ! I Just ordered two more for the rear. and I now have all 4 Baffles to place over the speakers I really think the baffles will be the topper for the rest of the sound that I need.. Yep,body molding trim , took the black stuff of and put that there and also around the trunk lid also on the trailer lid, side bag lids. gots lots of it , still trying to figure out were to put more I have only about 30 feet left:rotf: Jeff

Everette, YES- it is a AIS Hose. all it does is vent ... not to worry.. I found that hose last year when I had to repair my radiator. I removed my Lowers and found those hoses. There is also one on the other lower as well. they do not give you enough length and yes they are kind of hard to push back in-place.. but nothing to really worry about. You can kind of route them anyplace. >downward Jeff

*LOL* Yeppers! Mine was this small money telling me to smoke and I would just swat it off my shoulder. chantex is the ONLY thing that has come so close for me. I have tried it ALL I mean Hypnosis , patches, gum, food, yadda , yadda yadda. the one time I stopped I went so crazy (my wife non-smoker) went out and got me some smokes. I was fine after that -hehe-. I am the type that will have to be put away I think for about 30 days.. what I do not understand is I can be a Heron addict or a drunk and my work place will help them go away and get fixed for a couple months. (paid) but not a 40 year addicted smoker.. ummmm (like heron) Jeff

Yeah, mine with insurance is $35.00 of the $106.00 for 30 days. I can only have 30 days a year. Soooo I am holding my 30 days I have now then in JAN I will get 3 more months and give it a try again! It seemed to cut my smoking in HALF right a way!.. I did eat food before taking it as well.. my doctor also told me (Do you think Chantex is a new product?) They have been using it in Europe for 14 years now. *lol*.. I think of I put my mind to it a little better next time I can do it. Jeff

Talked with Crutchfield today and they say that the 400's will be going out of stock.. HURRY there is only 464 Speakers left! *lol* 401's will take there place. I think I will try the rear next. but gunna look in the rear pod for room first. like Don says , waiting till me back covers show up first. then I will do a write-up on how to remove/replace the rear 2nd Gen Speakers as well. For the price and if they do no work I will have spares I Guess gunna put the Speaker Baffles in the rear as well... Also they told me to make sure I cut a dime size hole in the bottom of the baffle to make the suction not be so bad. I will add these baffles to the write ups. gatta do somthing in these Iowa Winters! Stay Tuned! Jeff
