  1. Excellent Idea Shep, then it would all be in one place and post to HOME as well. people would more likely browse there. Another thing is that Don would not have to try and figure out how to make the classifieds move to home as well so all we need is another folder! - -- PERFECT--- Jeff
  2. Ummm.. I have a person in this classified add wanting it and A Member here that wants it. I have no clue who was in line. I also set it up in the selling that they could click on PAYPAL.. I do not see any buttons in there to buy the Item.. there also is no Time stamp on any message left. A Buyer here and a buyer there. Well Folks I will be at work and back home around 3PM CT I guess it is yours Craig. I will PM you my Paypal Info. Jeff
  3. Thanks Don, I and we no you try your hardest to make things work! and your a busy man. anyways , I just thought it could help! if it is to hard don't worry about it. not a big deal my friend. Jeff
  4. this is now for sale.. but you might not ever have known that, http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showproduct.php/product/1702/cat/1 ($25.00 SHIPPED) *BWG*
  5. Just got two more bottles UPS yesterday! Great stuff
  6. I think that if a seller post an ad. it should go to the main menu (home) like the rest of the post do. then it will fall off with in a day. right now as it stands nobody has a clue if a member posts anything for sale or not. OR you have to say HEY *waving* I just posted a for sale item in the VentureRider Classifieds . Just a thought. Jeff (JUST LIKE THIS POST JUST JUMPED TO HOME)
  7. I was wonder if I would still be able to use my jack after the converting is done. Are you able to place it in the same spot or does it go back more toward the rear?

    Extra Key

The Basic Blank is $6.00 at the dealer. (not the $45.00 one) like you have now. I just went through this. cuz I have sold my saddle bags and I got a extra key made for them for the new owner. even had my local hardware store cut it for me. I myself have 3 extra keys for the bike. Jeff
  10. Have been great for me. so far so good -Excellent! Darn , and I will never be using a rear motorcycle tire any more. Only got 4K on mine and have to get rid of it now. Going with 15x185/165 Michelin All Season Radials Now on the back of my new trike! prolly be able to get two of those for the price of a rear motorcycle tire now! hehe. But like FreeBird says, Your gunna here a LOT about tires and what is best,, this should turn into about a 3 page thread. Look down at the bottom of this page and you will see more links to Tires. Should give you a few hours of reading enjoyment.! Jeff
  11. I have always looked down in that hole were the plug goes but have not seen any dirt down there due to the fact that the top of the plug wire after inserted seals the top of the plug hole. It has its own protection dirt cover on it. but I do always look or shine a light down in there. still very clean in there after 9 years now. Jeff
  12. Then what happens when you take it off the stand?
  13. I removed to center stand to sell it *lol* BUT , I do have a Jack, that I have used to raise the entire bike to remove my rear tire though.
  14. Yeah, that what I pretty much figured, But was gunna ask the silly Question anyways! Jeff
  15. Hi gang. Is it possible to remove the rear shock and the fender will not hit the tire? so It can be put on a lift and carted off to my dealer for my trike conversion? I was wondering if removing the rear shock would cause any problems , A person that owns a second gen needs a shock pretty soon. otherwise he has to wait until about the 2nd week of March. If I can remove it, what is the procedure on doing that? Almost looks as if I would have to remove the Tire.. ummmm maybe I otta let them remove it. *lol* My Poor Bike is almost NAKED NOW *sigh* Basically I was wondering if it was a BIG deal or not. Thanks, Jeff
  16. Could one of you guys email the step be step instructions when you get a chance? I will be doing this as well. Much Appreciated! Thanks, Jeff
  17. Just went out and looked.. it is the allen bolt (to the right ) that you will need a 4mm? hex ball end to remove it , then your good to go. also try and get the thin wall 19mm socket for plugs at sears or some place like that get a good one.
  18. A swivel socket is like a U joint right kinda thingy right? YEP There is is bolt to the right side a believe. just ONE... remove it and push the reservoir over a bit. I am not at the bike right now, but you will see what I mean. Jeff
  19. Yep, forgot.. take the one bolt off the reservoir. just kinda move it aside enough to get that dog bone bolt removed.. nothing will spill. YES get a long socket extension. also a 19mm with a rubber plug inside the socket so you can pull the plug out. what also help me a bit is using a swivel on the extension. This will be ALL easier after you have done it once. about 15 Min's Good Luck Jeff

  23. Don, It is crazy what it takes to stop smoking sometimes. I still smoke and prolly will die from it I suppose. (1 pack a day) I also have had Prostate Cancer (not smoking related) That is on the mend. I had the seed in-plants. I to as well stopped using nicotine ads. they just keep you full of nicotine while your not puffing. anyways I have been through it all. Even few months ago I tried that new pill , cut it in half but went back to smoking. I Just stopped telling people that I quit I just say I stopped. I sure wish you all the luck in the world and please keep us up-dated were here are ALL very concerned about you. Good Luck, Be Strong and I will pray for you old boy! Jeff
