First of all you will HAVE to have this done at a Hannigan Authorized Dealer OR At Hannigan them selfs. The kit is warranted for 3 years. I think you can extend that as well. what I am getting at here is that is some shops that are not involved with trike conversions will not touch the bike. one of the reason's is most of them do not have the 5 foot wide lift as they do for the trike. I have ask a dealer that was close to me if they would ever work on it. they said no. so , do your research and ask lots of Questions. The Dealer that installed my Kit is a Honda/Yamaha Dealer that will work on 2 wheels OR 3 wheels. Let us know how things progress for you. For myself I am loving every min. of this change! and will never go back. I do play around still with other bikes with two wheels though. I myself looked at all this kits available and decided to go with Hannigans. I just love how there built so solid and ride so wonderful. ask Questions to the other riders here like Carbon_One he has a different kit and really enjoys it. Jeff -

REALLY! no kidding.. so wear are these rear coils and how can I test them? can't remember were they were? WOW what a great find.. also , you said ONE? how did you know what one? very COOL! SO I AM NOT CRAZY? Jeff -
(Any Idea's ) After my conversion, the first few weeks my top end power was there, I now have over 1500 miles on since then and loving every minute of it, I will never go back! , but what has happened or is it my Imagination? If I kick it into 5th gear I lose my top-end power range. I have changed plugs / air filters etc. still the same. I know that I now have an extra 300 pounds but As I get up into the higher range or up a hill I can not seem to go over 65 mph , it is like horse power is maxed out . In the lower gears ( 1/2/3 and a bit of 4th) I can get the RPM's up really high. any idea's? or am I just getting old? *lol* On Another note: when we had 2 wheels and pulled our trailer I was pulling 300 more pounds and all was OK, and a passenger. Mobil 1 didn't help
Cougar replied to Hummingbird's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Yamaha, changed mine out 5 times.... ( ALL THE LETTERS ) Nothing helped..still love the bike though. The (I) moved the sound to a higher range... I just keep the rev's above 3K on the tach and the whine will go away. I have also tried Every brand of OIL in this bike , that is all I have to say about that! Enjoy, Jeff -
