My work place just posted yesterday for our free yearly flu shots , but says it will not be for the H1N1 , there is none to be found in the state of Iowa for full on shot giving. there will only be a certain amount for those that need a special protection from it. I myself get the flu shot every year as I am getting kinda old! be safe out there! Jeff

Red, Thanks for the link. If I can I might go with the 4 gal. -How does the tank work right with-out a vented cap? -I still want to know did you add the (T) before the fuel pump? -I also was thinking if set up right why not just leave both tanks in the ON Position? Thanks, Jeff
-
Sure, just took these a while ago real heavy rain today! Jeff The cover also have 4 tie downs (2 on each side) to wrap it tighter of for the wind I guess if it was outside.

*oops* I see some of my answers above

Red, do you add an extra fuel pump in-line? Or do you use some type of (Y) adapter and go in front of the original fuel pump? Do you let them drain at the same time? lots of Questions *lol* I would really like to do this mod on my trike over the winter. also what tank did you buy? Thanks, Jeff

Just an up-date--- the cover is EXCELLENT! Fold down antenna's toward front of bike fits tight do the my light bar being ext-out with the little visors on them. but over all an excellent product. tall clear-view seems to be OK. I had to do this do to the fact that I bought my wife a collector/show car for our anniversary and I have no time this year before winter to add onto my garage. So what I did was purchase a garage in a box 12X20 seems very strong , I also brought in a load of gravel now this coming spring I will lay more concrete down and start building. The portable garage is anchored down in 10 places and water proof but wanted even more protection so that is why the cover for now. The portable is right next to my garage so I can be able to work on both during the winter time just be moving them back and forth. Garage is heated! Now to find a good quality car cover! Jeff

were the sensor goes/bolts into the hub/drive shaft part of the bike. Un-bolt it take it out and take a looksy at it. in some case's I have heard or seen them kinda messed up for some reason. it should be nice and smooth. -

Not sure if any of you Hannigan owners have seen or heard that Hannigan now has custom trike covers for the converted RSV. They run $118.00 with tax and shipping. I ordered one today and they happened to have one in stock, normally there is a 3 week wait on them as they are a custom item. for all there kits there only doing them for the RSV at this time. Harley and Honda have to wait ~S~.. I will post a picture if anybody is interested later after I receive the cover. Jeff

Another Cruise Control Problem

Just wondering if any of you have removed the cable going into the hub and inspecting the smooth side of the sensor? that part sometimes gets real messed up for some reason from time to time. I have a spare now that I keep on hand as well. very cheap at pinwall. Just a thought boys. Jeff -
I would also be interested in that link as well please.

And the (I) baskets have a tighter lash as they call it, closer gear cut, somebody correct me if I am wrong.
-
The Basket's were no charge as well as taking them on and off. and bike was 6 month over warranty. I believe they run about $230.00 or so. Jeff
-
Most of you know that I have been through 5 or 6 baskets. even had a second (I) put in just to make sure. this was ALL at the dealers cost.. TRUST ME.... The (I) will be better then any other basket that was produced for our bikes. I will say (NO) it will not remove the (sound) but will place them in a better range for you to tolerate. Now this is JUST MY Opinion! Good luck :fingers-crossed-emoand let us know how all this turns out for you! PS-- Motorkote for me has been wonderful !!! Feel free to call me if you have any Questions OR Get FreezyRider's stuff and call him! Great guy! Jeff

Ummmm... Hannigan also say there kits are $7,000.00 http://www.hannigantrikes.com/content/xSpecsPDF/yamaha-Spacs.pdf but then there is all the extras to be added as well. rake kits etc, yadda yadda. nice kits though. From looking at there site they also must be installed by an authorized dealer. that part is not so bad. Let us know what you come up with! Jeff

I am thinking of putting an Aux Tank in my trunk of my trike this winter. I am interested as well on some good tanks etc. and would like info on how one goes about hooking them up as well. Jeff

should the gas cap and tank get hot?
Cougar replied to jdzimme's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Find a second dealer , even if they are 100 miles away I had to do that with my bike. my local dealer talks like yours does. My far away dealer will fix anything under warranty, no Questions asked! they have been my new dealer now for 5 years I will have nothing to do with the dealer that is only about 15 miles away, except maybe get a part or something. let us know what you find out!
