  1. Make sure you didn't just hit the kill switch by mistake. It's on the top of right hand grip, and very easy to bump with a gloved hand and not know it.
  2. Sent via Paypal for three more. Keep the number to a break even point coming down. Wish I could go to the rally this year, but it's not in the cards. Sure would like to update to a new trailer though, the piggybacker just doesn't have the same class as that nice aluma trailer. Good luck everyone, and have fun at the rally.
  3. If you have the Yamaha aux lights like most of us do, you will have a good chance of getting water in the turn siginal housing every time you wash the bike. On mine I have to take the turn siginal apart about once a year to clear some rust out of the bulb socket or I have the same condition you decribe. The bulb is fine but wont make a good contact with the socket. Try some 200 or 300 grit wet and dry sandpaper, rolled up to fit in the socket, and twist it around a few times, then clean the small dots in the bottom of the socket with a small flat blade screwdriver. Should take care of the problem. Good luck.
  4. You might know this by now, but no pictures.
  5. When I take a long trip, I always figure 50MPH average when deciding on how far I can go in a day. This works very well even with me using the cruise control when ever I can, set at 80MPH. Some days you'll average higher, but not much. Have fun.
  6. I live in Michigan, and rode out to see my son in Gunnison. After I got there, I found my back tire was way to far gone to ride back so I called around and found 303 Cycle in Denver had a Dunlop E3 that he installed while I waited for something like $160 out the door. I was a little concerned about them working on a cruiser, since it looks like they cater to sport bikes, but he said in the last couple of years his buisness has gone to about 50/50. Very nice people to deal with and easy to find on the south side of Denver.
  7. Very cool, wish I could be there. Enjoy watching it on TV, I'm always supprised at which cars go for the big bucks, when some rare clasic will go for what seams like a bargin.
  8. I got one just like Monty but in yellow. I figured for a trip it would stand out in the rain on the back of a Midnight Venture. It holds on to the rack with the supplied straps, and is very easy to remove to take in your hotel room at night. Great bag for the price.
