I agree ,Way to many people get a distorted concept of Value form the [NON reality ] shows and Media. Best buy is a done car or cycle form a Divorce or Estate Sale. That little Honda will bring a couple hun at that guys Estate Sale. -
Shovel is likley to be more pron to oil issues , the Evo not so much. Check V-Twin form.com or bigboyzheadporting.com. Have your engine number handy:detective:

1984 Big Block Harley should be a 80" Evolution engine. Although it is said that a few could have been the end production Shovelheads. Look at web site on H D's the engines look a lot different.

Last year bought a First Gear- Laguna Mini Hard Tank Bag. Mainly to carry GPS, Radar dector , misc it has mangets or suck cups. Have used it to transfere above stuff from bike to bike. I use the suck cups because my 87 Venture and V-Max's no metal. Good view of GPS and not so big in front of you. Use it on my Wide Gilde too. Has Super Brace and it's tight, but just had Progressive springs put in this winter, was told not to put on AIR with them, kind of wonder about that ?? Was told that rear should be harder ?? Bike only has 10,000 miles on it new rubber 3500 miles ago and at BOOK pressure unless different pressure is recomonded.

Anyone have experence with putting on a dampner? These shock type dampners look like a deal for speed wobble if they can be put on a Ist gen. I've had bikes over the years with them, but didn't pay attention how they mounted them. They were factory. Hoss brookdale@brookings.net

Real Indian's were gone in 1953 model year. After they were Royal Infields from England for awhile. But never knew of a real Chief unless it was a custom remade rig.
