So I talked to Rick about reworking my seat and he says it's a corbin and can't be done easily so I'm looking to buy a comfier seat (and matching passenger seat) Anyone got one for sale/trade, or can recomend one? I included a picture of what my seat looks like now, and I really like the studs and fringe, but it's not worth the pain in my butt. http://i917.photobucket.com/albums/ad19/fsatatkid/royalstar.jpg

So who's gonna teach me how to sync (jet?) my carbs on the 19th?

Wow....Well it seems that June 18th-20th may be a very interesting weekend lol

Another week I'd like to forget happened.
YoungBlood replied to Snaggletooth's topic in Watering Hole
I've never had a spider in my lap at 65, but I was on the way home one afternoon and about an hour from home a bird flew square into my chest and landed square in my lap. I thought he was dead at first so I wasn't going to freak out about it, but then I saw his little head moving. So as I got a little bit closer to the town I live in I stopped at a 24 hour vet hospital. The bird was fine, just dazed, but it cost me $85 to figure that out. -
lol I'm in the dark over this whole pond monster thing
-
Ohh I'm def looking forward to it. Is there any fishing to be done in this pond?
-
lol I'm going to subscribe, I just have to wait til I get paid. I don't think I'll require special tools, but I carry a 140 piece socket and screwdriver set in my bags, plus a set of alan wrenches. So does this actually take place at Dons house?
-
So I'm coming for sure now but I had a few questions. 1. Is this just for the day or are people coming up early? Are there camping spots around, and would anyone want to share one if I came up on friday? 2. Anyone gonna be coming through the eastern indiana, western ohio area that would want to hook up and ride together? (I've never ridden in a "pack" so you would have to forgive my ignorance) 3. Do I need to bring tools? If so I'll have to cage the bike to bring it down, I don't have a lot of extra space in my saddlebags.
-
Well said Beer. You never know what some idiot is going to do, so why be unprepared?
-
Massey, I'm pretty sure the law in ohio/indiana is that if your not carrying the handgun in(on) the vehicle it has to be in a locked compartment, unloaded, and with no ammunition in the magizine.

Any other CCW holders on here? I'm having a problem finding the right way to ride with heat. I carry a Glock model 30 or a MR Baby Eagle 9mm 90% of the time. Soemtimes I carry a Sig P220, but it's hard to carry a full sized handgun concealed. Anyway, the problem I'm having is that when I carry my weapon on the inside of my waistband, it's very awkward and jabs me in the side not to mention if my shirt gets to flapping in the breeze it shows in my wastebnd. When I carry in my shoulder rig it feels bulky, and since when I wear my rig I have to wear my jacket, it takes more time to draw if I need to. I thought about trying an ankle holster, but again the draw speed isn't there. Is there a happy medium here, or do I just need to suck it up?

Yea the guy never stopped, and from what I can tell he never even slowed down. I was a little shaken, and I don't think it was "good driving" on my part as much as dumb luck. I thought for sure when I hit the grass that I would be going over, but I figured I'd rather lay it over at 15 mph than to be hit by a 2000 lb steel bullet. I didn't have to change my shorts, but I had to stop and take a breather before I kept on.

96 Royal Star standard. Sorry

Is there any aftermarket add ons that will give me an actual fuel gauge without having to drill a hole in my tank? I hate having nothing else than the idiot light.
-
well originally it wasn't meant to be an intersection. But sometime in the 50's when abington road was taken over by st. rt. 122 they never straighted out the curve and made the intersection right. Instead they just added another curve to the other side.
