Don't know you personally, but you don't reflect a "Cupcake " persona! Have no doubt that a big although friendly pay back is coming to your buddy for the name, you sound like you can give as much as you can take! So, being a former squid myself, I say do what feels good and enjoy!

When you take them out through them tiny holes in the bottom do you screw the springs clockwise or counter-clockwise? Der-r-r-r! I just hadda ask! Referring to what he said about not having to remove the handlebars. I know you have to move them out of the way. Thanks Carl, BTW where do you get the map of the travelled states? I've been in quite a few and would like to have that on my posts too.

Hey Hotmech, Just wondering, I assume that you did pull the caps off to fill the tubes with fork oil. If not howjyaduit? I have mine tore apart waiting on the parts. I didn't have to take my fairing or bars off either, but I'm not sure how to refill the forks without pulling the caps off the upper tubes. Fill me in would ya! Thanks Zane 1990 VR

Hi all, I'm new here, just ran out of freebie time so got out my wallet and kicked the money up! I have a 90 VR and it had that wobble. mine was at b'tween 35 & 45. Read up on tightness of the neck bearings and tried it. Still wobbled with the proper torque so I did what any one would do......I tightened her some more. No more wobble anymore!Don't overdo it, but I don't happen to think 5 ft pounds is good enough
