  1. The motor could be stuck on or an audio line hung open. Certainly wont hurt to unplug it, unless you are one of the three people in the world that still use it,,,,,,
  2. I got mine from Family Motor Sports online a,d shipping was actually cheap. They were like $5.65 I think ( without finding the order slip ) http://www.familypowersports.com/
  3. It warmed up to 19 by 9:20 so I could brave it in now I realize I am almost out of propane and will have to go back for the truck to take the tank to be filled,,,,,,,, 24 now I think I will put on my shorts and sit in the shade for a smoke...... NOT!!!!!
  4. Only 19 It was 16 here at 7:30 and I ain't but a 80 west of ya,,,,,,,
  5. The G2 Venture C-Buss is supposedly back on the table for doping out, along with a Valkyrie,,, There was a cable made at one time for the Venture, but their CB Project went overboard, and put it off until now ( or as I was told by Pete a day or so ago )
  6. That is similar to what I put on mine when I redone it in Aug. They are held on with double sided 3M grey tape. A heat gun and some time will lift them right off, Patience and time. I have on the back speakers also. http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird2.jpg
  7. Yep there is that for sure, and all out in the open for any one to see when they pass by and the flap is open, or happen to unzip it to take a peek,,,,,,,, Storing stuff in a container under the bed isn't what I would call secure, and out of sight out of mind,,,,,,,, Great campers, and lots of room when set up, and strong as far as storm handling goes, but there is NO inside out of sight storage..
  8. The dimes worked for the past few weeks I finely got some plugs, and changed them out this morning, then took her for an hour or so ride to get it all hot and bothered, and to seat in the plugs ( just an excuse to get out and ride ) I left the dimes on the covers too. I didn't loose but about 3 table spoons of anti-freeze, but it looked like a gallon Now only time and temperature will tell.
  9. Well did ya skip work, and get it all figured out,,,, Where's da pic's......
  10. Though a fairly easy to install kit there are some caveats in the fitting, and drive line setup. Check with them and ask if they have installed a kit on a Venture, and don't settle for "We install them on Goldwings, and Harleys. There isn't any difference" If you get that answer just ask what the spacing on the speedo sensor is,,,, Oh by the way it is .003 - 5, or a snug fit on a new dollar bill and very critical. If they have done one they will know.........
  11. There is only 24 hours left to get in on this Upgrade. From what I understand this it it,,, Get on or get off type of thing, and come Saturday morning it will fall under " You snooze you Loose" category
  12. I put Traxxion springs in my GW 4 years ago, and haven't looked back. More ground clearance, and tighter front end, with no sag at all.
  13. If they would just do something about that Ugly tail piece that hangs out in the breeze, and it looks as if it would grab the ground going over a bump or leaving a drive way,,,,
  14. Be your luck that your at the Train Station,,,,,,, with me.
  15. Unplug and re-plug all of the connections that you see under the faring, and if you have some put a little dab of dielectric grease on them. Unplugging, and re-plugging them breaks up any corrosion that may be on the pins, and makes for a better contact. You would be supprised at the problems that have been solved by doing that.
  16. Loctite® Threadlocker Blue 242® Nut and Bolt Locker Overview Features Technical Data Directions Loctite® Threadlocker Blue 242® is designed for the locking and sealing of threaded fasteners which require normal disassembly with standard hand tools. 17. Yes; Roll-A-Home was sold to Billy down in Hobart OK, and is mostly moved to that location, and production may even be started again. I have the Wide Bed model that is a slide out model, and the bed is almost a King Size. The standard model is more on the line of a double I seem to remember being 4 ft wide. Larry the previous owner pulled his with his Goldwing, and Billy has a Harley that he pulls with. They are about 275#'s for the slide out model, and have a tongue weight of 20#s. Here is a link to a few photos, and mods that I have done to mine. http://s382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/Roll-A-Home/
  18. I myself have tried the Time Out, and found that though a good camper it had no room for storage when set up, and was difficult to get to packed for travel. I have used an Aspen Classic which is similar in design to the Bunkhouse, but with the poles on the inside. It was a good setup also, but not mu cup of tea still. I then came to the Roll-A-Home which is somewhat similar to the Leisure, but with inside storage that can be easily accessed on the road. Hard floor, and off ground, inside out of sight storage, and one man setup in 2 to 3 minutes. Sturdy frame, and torsion suspension.
  19. Pull the fuses one at a time until you find the circuit that is draining, then look at that circuit for what is on it.
  20. From what I have seen and read the connections under the faring are subject to corrosion, and being loose if having been into before. When I had mine apart I put a dab of dielectric grease on every thing that connected together, and made sure that they had snapped into place. The ignition switch connections under the tank are a weak link in the electrical system also as mentioned. This has happened to me recently also, but I had heated gear on ,and turned up pretty Hi when the Trike stalled at a light. Blank dash and trip reset...... I think my battery may be a little weak too.
  21. I have the Tulsa Tall/wide tented shield, and love it, and the price wasn't bad either. Do wished it was as wide as the Yamaha wide one is. It is only an inch but I am spoiled by the Honda,,,
  22. Wall Mart, Auto Zone O'riellys.......
  23. Bad connection under the faring, and or a battery going south ( getting a little weak )
  24. Me either,,,,
